the only part i agree with is that those low-market owners are greedy. they don't realize that you have to spend money to make money. the key is that the sox and yankees give their fans what they pay for. everyone wants to look down on them for overspending and all that stuff but the truth is it's everyone else that is cheating their fan-base. you have to spend money to make money. people want to see stars play. exactly. you are basically agreeing to duce and disagreeing with yourself.

the whole problem with what you're dishing out is you're attack the yankees for this but yet the mets have done the same thing. before wright and reyes it was all trading and signings, and overpaid mother fuckers. mo vaughn, cliff floyd, mike piazza, etc etc. and the thing is, even now they have beltran, pedro who are both overpaid as much as i love em. nobody is insulting the mets for that and saying they're not enough like the braves, so why attack yankees fan for doing an exaggerated version of the mets' plan? *Hears crickets and sees tumbleweed roll by*

duce ok, with your point on me attacking yankees, yes ok on the mo vaughn signing, but i though that was stupid from the start, nor was i thrilled with floyd, didn't like the direction team was going in and it showed in those years. just saying for now purposes, the age/oldness is exactly why one new york team is going in an upward direction and the other is going downward.
