I'll be looking at the Centers that are most to trade for.
Honorable Mention (In no particular order)-
Shaquille O'Neal C 36 7'1'' 335 B+ D- D A- B+ D
Spencer Hawes C 20 7'0'' 250 B- C- C- B- C+ A
Paul Millsap C 23 6'8'' 247 C+ C- D+ B A- B
Nene Hilario C 26 6'11'' 268 B- D+ D+ A- B B
DeSagana Diop C 26 7'0'' 288 C+ D D+ B+ B+ C
Channing Frye C 25 6'11'' 255 B- C C- B+ B- B
Ike Diogu C 25 6'8'' 250 B C D+ B- B B
Zydrunas Ilgauskas C 33 7'3'' 260 B- C- D+ A- B C
Tyson Chandler C 26 7'1'' 235 C D C- A- A C
Samuel Dalembert C 27 6'11'' 250 C+ C- F+ B+ B+ C
Mehmet Okur C 29 6'11'' 249 B B- D+ B- B- D
Let's kick this shit off, start at 10th.
10-Marcus Camby C 34 6'11'' 225 C+ C- C- A A- D
Sure Mr. Camby is 34 years old, and will probably be around for 1-2-3 more seasons. But as long as he's still playing, you can count on 2 things. He will be a top 10 rebounder in the league. And one of the best shot blockers in the league. Camby won DPOY last year, and even though he is aging, I could see him win a few others. He's the type of player that can turn a somewhat contender into a legit contender.
9-Chris Kaman C 26 7'0'' 272 C+ C- D- A- B C
Kaman, the Neanderthal man, may look like a reach at nine. But this beast is scoring 15ppg and grabbing 10rpg in his UOSL2 career. Not to mention he's only 26 and still has some improvement in the tank. Along with his huge body, Kaman is the type of center everyone would want on his team. Can't go wrong here.
8-Darko Milicic C 23 7'1'' 245 C+ C- C- A- B- B
Darko is a very interesting player. After he got drafted, the next couple years were hard for him. He was labeled as a bust and didn't see much time off the bench. He was shipped around, until he finally found his home in Memphis. Milicic is finally showing his stuff. His stats are definitely eye opening, but his improvement each year and the fact that he is only 23 has every rebuilding team on CC's doorsteps.
7-Nenad Krstic C 25 7'0'' 244 B+ C- C- A- C+ C
This big 7 footer has been fun to watch improve. He was not highly touted at the beginning of his career. But Nenad has made improvements yearly and now looks to be one of the top 5 centers in the league. He is a great inside scorer, and brings a surprisingly solid defensive game, which previous scouts said he would also be weak in that area. Krstic is still only 25, and should be a top center for at least 5 more years.
6-Andrew Bynum C 21 7'1'' 285 B- D+ C- B B B
GMs Mocked the move by nbal to trade Shawn Marion for Baby face Andrew Bynum. Even, I, for one was befuddled by this move. Bynum was nothing more than a long term project who would rarely see the court. But boy was I wrong. Baby face soon turned into a beast. The 7-1 285 pound Center is now one of the most wanted centers in the league. He has nearly no weaknesses, and is still improving. I could see this man in a suns uniform for most of his career.
5-Pau Gasol C 28 7'0'' 240 B+ C C- B+ B+ C
I wasn't sure where to put Gasol. He could have gone anywhere from 4 to 8. But I thought about it, and how many B+ C C B+ B+ guys do you see in a league? Not many. After noticing he has been averaging 22.5ppg and 10.5rpg my mind was made up that this guy is the real deal. Nuggets just recently acquired this big man, so we have yet to see what he can do on a contender type team. Gasol is a hard to find center because of his mix of quickness, strength, and jumping along with good handles and solid outside shot. Very hard to find a guy like this, thats why he makes it in the top 5.
4-Andris Biedrins C 23 6'11'' 249 B- D+ D B+ A- C
Andris Biedrins is one of the best rebounding big men in the league. He is very strong and can be a huge hassle for other teams. Biedrins has just recently been resigned by the warriors, and I feel like he'll be with them for many years. Andris is only 23, and seems to be getting substantially better each year. Although his stats are nothing to be excited about, the fact that he hasn't been playing much lately, but has been quite impressive when he has played, make me know this guy will be a damn good player.
3-Yao Ming C 28 7'6'' 296 A- C C- A- B B
James is probably saying damn Bogut and Oden, Yao should be first. Well he may be right, in terms of productiveness, however we are talking about Yao, and well Yao, is getting old! This Chinese giant has no doubt had the best UOSL 2 career for a center. Putting up 26ppg and 11.5rpg is just sick. Other than Wade, his team is crap, yet they seem to be one of the better teams in the West every year. Knowing James, I don't see Yao ever being traded. I mean come on, he is 7-6 300 and is impossible to slow down. Keep on dreaming GMs...
2-Andrew Bogut C 24 7'0'' 249 B C- C A- B+ A
Hasn't Bogut been a pleasant surprise? Like, nbal, Jeremy was highly critiqued for trading Paul for Bogut and Mo Williams. The trade look like shit, until TC, where Bogut turned into a living nightmare for every other team. Bogut has everything you want in a big man, plus more. He has good speed, has solid handles, and has a decent outside game. Although I still think trading Paul was a bad idea, the way Bogut is looking right now, I may be changing my mind later on. Definitely one of the most wanted big men in UOSL2.
1-Greg Oden C 20 7'1'' 288 B C- D- A- B+ A
You know you want this guy. Everyone does, except maybe Jeremy. And that's because he has Bogut, and cause he is a retard... Anyway. Damn. There's not much t say about Oden. He's sexy, he's huge, he's good, he can score, he can rebound, he can defend, he can block shots, meh, and he can only get better? Oden IMO, is the most untouchable player in the league. He's only 20 years old, and is one of the best big men in the league. GMs may never get a chance to acquire him. You rebuilding teams, just pray when his rook contract is up, that he enters FA. Good luck. Here's a wild prediction: Oden will be a Pacer4life, yo.
