1 - Seattle Sonics - DeMarcus Cousins C 6'9'' 245 19 B C- C C+ B- A
No-brainer here. With the #1 pick, you should always take the best player available, and that's what the sonics did.
2 - Washington Wizards - Lance Stephenson SF 6'5'' 200 19 B- C+ B- C+ C- A
Lance again should be a no-brainer, take the best player. But I also think Lance will fit in nicely with the wizards. The Wizards already seem to have a decent frontcourt. So why not start with a very versatile players. Lance could end up playing the point, the 2, or the position he is projected at, Small Foward.
3 - Chicago Bulls - Delvon Roe PF 6'8'' 220 20 B- C C B+ C A
It's no secret the Bulls need some frontcourt help. I think Roe could end up starting for the championship Bulls. Move Brand to Center, and slot in Roe at PF and you got yourself an even better team than before.
4 - New York Knicks - Kenny Boynton SG 6'2'' 185 19 B- B- C B- D+ A
Knicks will go Boynton here unless Lance or DeMarcus fall. They get a perfect fit for their team. A versatile guard who can do everything. Will be a nice addition to the Knicks organization.
5 - Atlanta Hawks - James Harden SG 6'5'' 200 21 C+ B+ C B- C- B
The hawks really need a scorer, and Harden should fit that void. He can score from anywhere on the court, and has deadly range. Along with his solid defense, I could see Harden seeing some valuable time this upcoming season.
6 - Los Angeles Clippers - Leslie McDonald SG 6'4'' 195 19 C+ C+ B- C+ D+ A
The Clips desperately need a big man, but they can probably find their man with their 10th pick. With this pick, I think the clippers should trade it. Or they could go with the best player available, Leslie McDonald, to go along with their handful of guards. McDonald is a pass first SG who can be deadly with his panned out game.
7 - Sacramento Kings - Chris Wright PG 6'1'' 190 21 C+ B- C+ C+ D+ B
Here's another team that needs some depth up front. So I'd recommend trading this pick for a team that needs a PG. Or draft Chris Wright. An athletic SG who has good range on his shot and has a nice complete game.
8 - Seattle Sonics - Shawn Williams SF 6'6'' 200 19 C B C C C- A
Now that the sonics got their franchise player, time to take a risk on a younger player. Shawn reminds of Martel Webster, a young shooting guard with an amazing outside game, while the rest of his game is very average. Should be interesting to see how he ends up.
9 - New Orleans Hornets - FORFEIT!
10 - Los Angeles Clippers - J'mison Morgan C 6'10'' 270 21 C+ D D C+ B- A
Clippers need the big man, badly. Morgan is huge and is a beast on the boards. He should be a solid fit for the LA Clippers.
11 - New York Knicks - Anthony Crater PG 6'1'' 175 20 C+ C A- C D A
Crater falls big time into NY's lap. They get a stud handler and passer. Crater should be a great fit for New York to feed the ball to guys like Boynton and Love.
12 - Minnesota Timberwolves - Brandon Jennings PG 6'1'' 180 20 B- C+ B+ C D+ B
A little insurance in case Ridnour doesn't resign. Jennings, after Cousins and Harden, IMO, is the most UOSL ready player in this draft. He is a solid scorer and has great passing and quickness. Don't be surprised if Jennings ends up starting. However he does need to work on his D.
13 - Atlanta Hawks - Anthony McClain C 7'0'' 235 22 B- D D+ B- C+ B
After they get their shooter, they need to get the next thing on their agenda: A solid PF/C. McClain fits the bill perfectly. He has an already pretty polished game, and would see minutes right away.
No-brainer here. With the #1 pick, you should always take the best player available, and that's what the sonics did.
2 - Washington Wizards - Lance Stephenson SF 6'5'' 200 19 B- C+ B- C+ C- A
