Hello and Welcome to this new addition of the hot seat, I am your host DB. Today on the show we have the gm of the raptors and the commissioner of the league Ducky! Lets begin.
1. This season, which team is the team to beat?
Ducky: The Pacers, no doubt. They've shown that their the best team in UOSL2, and have been for a couple years now. And until someone can slow them down, they are the team to beat.
2. Who do you think will surprise a few teams come playoff time?
Ducky: The Miami Heat. They have a very well balanced team now. I'm a little concerned with their overall defense, but with a strong post presence like Tyson Chandler, and a 2 stud scorers in Beasley and Melo, and with Felton running the show, it's hard for me to think this team can't do damage. If they could trade Lee and some youth for a more legit SG, I think this team will surprise everyone.
3. What GM is making his way to GMOY this year and why?
Ducky: Sonics GM (shaunkol). He's made some of the best trades in UOSL2 over the past couple years, and all of them have seemed to go his way. Sure he hasn't done a whole lot this year, but he did trade for Speights, and he has made a lot of tactical changes all year long, so I think he deserves it. I also like the Knicks, that team looks a lot better than it did a year ago, and if he keeps it up, I think he could be carrying the GMOY award when it's all said and done.
4. What gm is doing a really poor job?
Ducky: The Cavaliers GM (kok). This team has the best player in the league, yet they seem to be getting shittier by the year, and they only seem to be getting older and declining in talent. I give it a year or 2 before this team doesn't make it to the playoffs, and LeBron's rare talent just goes to waste. It's a shame really, hopefully the cavs can step it up and change the face of this team.
5. Any guys on their way out? Any surprise firings coming up?
Ducky: No comment.
6. Do you think the Pacers can three peat?
Ducky: To be honest, I think the east is theirs. I know the Bucks and Hornets are playing good ball, but the Pacers are just too good right now and they should make it to the finals once again. However, I really like the Grizz and the Sonics this year. I feel both have made enough improvements to win it all. So the finals will be a battle, but I'll still have to say yes: I think the pacers will three peat. But I wouldn't be surprised if you see the Grizzlies or the Sonics knocking them off.
7. What is one thing you want the league to know, and it can be anything you want.
Ducky: I actually live in a hole.
8. Do you think All-stars is an asshole?
Ducky: Ehh I personally don't have any problems with him. I was in NBN with him and there were times where he wouldn't respond to e-mails, but I don't think he ignores them on purpose, but just kind of pushes them off till later. So, I can see why people would think he's an asshole, but like I said, it's not like that's his goal in life. And now that he responded to his PMs, I'm pretty sure everyone's happy.
9.If you could bang Jessica Alba or Jessica Simpson who would it be?
Ducky: Easy, Alba. Alba > All.
