1) Dwight Howard – Indiana Pacers: A- C- D+ A A+ C
Howard is an absolute monster. He averages an outrageous 29/14 with a nice 2.7 BPG to go with it. Its no surprise that Indiana has the top player at both PF and C, as evidenced by their 3 championships. Howard’s ability to put up monster numbers in the playoffs is the main reason why nobody wants to face Indiana come playoff time.
2) Emeka Okafor – New York Knickerbockers: B+ D+ D A A- B
Okafor does just about everything for the 13-8 Knicks. What makes Okafor such a great player? His ability to play defense. He is top 10 in the league in both blocks and rebounds while still averaging 20 ppg. That is a rare commodity in UOSL, and makes Okafor a great player to have on your team
3) Amare Stoudamire – Seattle Sonics: A- C- D+ B+ B+ B
As a #1 option, thre is no question that Amare can put up 25+ points a game. As a Sonic his numbers are more modest, but still fantastic at 24/10/2.4. Stoudamire shoots at over 47% and can absolutely go off on opposing Power Forwards. Stoudamire is a dynamic presence, and is a certifiable top 5 Power Forward in UOSL
4) Michael Beasley – San Antonio Spurs: A- B C A- B+ C
Beasley’s abilities look absolutely sexy. He is a very complete player who can score, rebound and distribute the ball. Beasley averages 20/10 with a handy 3.3 apg and 2.1 bpg. Beasley is a studly player, who could push the Spurs to a playoff berth.
5) Brandon Wright – Utah Jazz: A C- C B+ C+ C
Wright is a fantastic player and will play a key role for the Jazz this year. Wright does it all, averaging 23/11 with 2.7 blocks per game. He does not turn the ball over much and shoots at a good clip. There is nothing he does badly, and is a great talent.
