Today we will be doing an in depth analysis of the UOSL playoffs this season. Sit back and relax, and lets get ready for what should be an interesting ride to becoming champions.
Utah Jazz # 1
Houston Rockets # 8
The Utah Jazz have dominated the entire league this past regular season and will continue to dominate if they stay healthy. They have been favorites since the first two weeks of the season, and will continue to be favorites through out. They will surge past the Rockets in four games. With Greg Oden, Brandan Wright, Kevin Durant, right there you are thinking this is an all-star team, no sir, this is the Utah Jazz. Lance Stephenson and young protégée Tavon Sledge round out the back court. The Jazz should cruise by the Rockets, even though Dominic Cheek and Alexey Shved, might have another opinion on this, the Jazz are too strong all over.

Dallas Mavericks #4
San Antonio Spurs # 5
This match will be a lot tougher to judge. Both teams are solid in different ways. Spurs have a great back court of Chris “MVP” Paul and Morris Almond. Their defense is outstanding while their two big men block 4 shots a game! Holy shit! Their depth may be a little weak, but I love this entire line up, their defense is outstanding. Dallas is riding the back of young Brandon Knight who is a superb scorer. They have a well rounded line up as well, with quality bigs who both block 2 shots per game, a good point guard in Mike Conley who turns it over around 1 per game. They are a strong team, that limit their TOs and play good defense. Mavericks have taken the entire series this season, but the Spurs also have been hit with injuries. Who takes it?
Mavericks win in 7
Sonics # 2
Clippers # 7
Most people in this match up would be scared to pick the Sonics because they really just rely on their young back court tandem to get things done. While the Clippers have been known to soar through the post season off the hands of their brilliant DCs and Luol Deng. I am here telling you that is hog wash! The Sonics have dominated teams this year through out the regular season and will take this game. Reese and Rubio are the new things in UOSL and are taking shit over. They are the best back court around and will not let a first round exit happen while they are around. With Speights anchoring the front court, the Sonics should take this one. It may be too much for Deng and Jennings at this point; I do not think they can do it, but past success would challenge my call.

Grizzlies # 3
Timberwolves # 6
The Grizzlies success is all riding on the King, Lebron James, who has taken this team to the promise land before, the question is can he do it again? You have to like the Grizzlies chances as Dwight Howard and Lebron sure look to dominate the Twolves in every way possible. The series is split 2-2, which definitely shows the Twolves can compete with this team. From the looks of this team, they have a bunch of nobodies except for Rudy Gay. Andris Biedrins, Kevin Martin (he really is still alive), and Petteri Koponen is running the point!! What the hell, how is this team winning? They have the chemistry, which may just be enough to become a cinderella story in the west, but I am putting my money on Lebron and Dwight.
Grizzlies in 6
This has been the first playoff edition of the Western Conference teams. Check back in later for the East and see which team will knock off a top seed.
I am Dan Basone, thanks for joining me.
