Yes, Krstic has pretty ratings, but it means jack if he can't produce. His inside = a product of strength and/or jumping, and he can't block a shot to save his life.
Not to mention, he can't stay outta foul trouble..

25 minutes - 0 fouls
The only two games where he played 25+ minutes and had less then 4 fouls was both against Seattle...who no disrespect has starting bigs that should be 3rd stringers.
Who cares if he has great ratings if he can't stay on the damn floor and stay outta foul trouble.
Krstic is overrated, not to mention an expiring who will probably want a shitload of money that he's not worth.
Kobe is Kobe and obviously he's amazing, but he gets three good players back, not to mention Kobe's salary is huge.
Okafor is outstanding, he will never score 20 a game, but scoring can be found/manufactured, defense can't. 13-12 with 3BPG...he'll anchor them at C for years. Noah may not be great either, but B inside and A defense and B- rebounding will be quite solid, and pairing Okafor-Noah in the post is nasty, not to mention Marion at the 3.
Terry's obviously no where near Kobe, but he's a very solid SG who will give them 18-6-4 type numbers.
He may not win as much this year(then again, he could now that his post players can play defense), but this is terrific for him in the future, he basically helps himself cap-wise now that he won't have to max Krstic, gets two young, terrific defenders in the post, a solid SG, and a 1st.
On the surface it looks bad for him, but I think Basone got a pretty darn good deal.
But then again, my team's only 4-0, winning by 24 a game, won 58 games last year, and is still relatively young. What do I know?
I think that the fouls are more due to Dan's Tempo and Defensive settings then Kristic himself.
