Jazz Trade: Kobe Bryant 2011 Jazz 1st - Top 5 Protected - If it's top 5, he gets my 2012 1st
Warriors Trade: Rudy Gay Patrick Patterson J.R. Smith Brian Scalabrine Patrick O'Bryant
Note : Later this offseason, I will trade him Danilo Gallinari for fillers.
Jazz Accept. This is a very tough deal to make, but I love Gay and Patterson and while I overpay and I know it, I love my team right now.
Nice dealing Aaron.

It's a deal. If bringing in Barbosa was the first step towards forming a competitive core, bringing in Kobe is the definitive one. He's one of the best players in the game, and I have a good core around him in Collison, Barbosa, Gomes, Biedrins, Rondo et al. Right now we're not going to win it all, but I think we're close to the top of the West, and I can build from that.

Wow, still not sure what to think of this deal. I feel warriors gave up a bit too much... 2 top 5 draft coices+solid youngin for kobe... Maybe I'm wrong, but I feel Jazz could the better end here. Pretty solid deal though both ways. Warriors should be contenders.

Yeah don't get me wrong, Warriors team will be sick still. But I just feel if they kept their youth movement, they could have been unstoppable in 3-4 years.

I kept telling Nova I wanted to stick to my vision, but the more I thought of it, I want to win now. I still have good youth and a lot of firsts coming my way, but I want to see for 2 years if I have enough to contend. I know I gave up on a lot of talent here though.

The X-factor is Gallinari. If he develops into a stud, it swings the deal in his favor. If he busts, it swings it in my favor.

True, Warriors still do have Collison and Biedrins and Gomes and Barbosa....
So yeah, not bad.

I really lost out in taking advantage of GS deciding not to rebuild...
