very player in the NBN has a rating from 1-100 in each of the categories listed below. These categories combine to make up the ratings that we see on our rosters. For example, the Defense rating that we see on our rosters (e.g. Oden A+, Mayo B+) is a combination of Speed, Strength, Stealing, Blocking, Post Defense, Perimeter Defense and Drive Defense. As you can see, things probably aren't as simple as you once thought!

GMs can select one player from their team to go into intensive training. I will use a random number generator to determine how much the rating will improve by. There is a small risk that the player might actually get worse in this category. The random number will be between minus 1 and plus 5. A player can only receive the intense training three times during their career. You can mix and match which category the player trains in during his career.
Example: The 76ers choose to enter Greg Oden into intensive mid-range shooting practice. He gets a random number of 4, so his mid-range shooting improves from, say, 54 to 58. The next season he is entered again, and draws a 3. He now has an outside shot of 61 (presuming the training camp didn't alter his rating in any other way). The following season, content with his shooting, the 76ers work on his strength. He draws a -1 and is now weaker than the year before. He can no longer receive any more training as he has received three sessions.
You will need to list a) the player and b) the training type in your usual Weights Room threads. I will make a list of all the players who have entered the training, so that nobody gets more than three chances to improve over their career.
No Age Limit.
BAM!, thanks to Willc and NBN.
