Draft Contracts
Every 1st round pick will be 4 years of length. However, before TC, you have the option to take the 4th year off, making it a 3 year contract, or leaving it as a 4 year contract.
For 2nd round picks, then length is 2 years. But you have the option to either cut the player off your team without be penalized or to add a 3rd year to the 2nd round player (Limit of one player can be extended).
