NOTES
A Kyle Anderson(Duke) PG 21 6-4 180lbs B- B C+ C C- A JR
Coming out of a high powered College, such as Duke, leaves high expectations for Kyle. Mr. Anderson was do it all for Duke, and plans to do the same in uosl2. Anderson has a very deadly offensive game and has good quickness and athleticism. He has great size and rebounds well for a PG. Anderson's natural position is probably PG, but he will turn the ball over. His defense is probably his own worst enemy, as he has struggled to find consistency. But scouts see a lot of upside in Anderson. He reminds me of a better version of Gilbert Arenas.
A Rashad Wattie(Maryland) PG 19 5-10 155lbs C- C+ B- C+ D- A FR
Rashad is a very extreme player. He has some extreme strengths, bt some extreme weaknesses. What we love about Wattie is his quickness. He can run circles around anybody, and he doesn't turn the ball over a whole lot. His FT shot is dead on, and he averaged nearly 3spg in college. What we don't love about wattie is his size/strength. He is the weakest player we have ever seen enter a uosl2 draft. His post presence, both offensively and defensively is non-existent. And his 3point shot still needs work. Wattie is a big project and will have some up and downs.
A- Stevie Taylor(Georgia Tech) PG 23 5-9 160lbs C B A- B- D B
Stevie Taylor is sexy. He's got mad ball-handling skills, and he has a very sweet stroke. It's true, he is small and struggles against bigger players, but his natural PG skills catch everyones attention. Probably the attribute that GMs are going to like the most, is his defense. Even though he is 5-9 and seems like a tweener, he plays solid, strong defense. Potentially he may be limited, but he could start right away for many teams.
B+ Zavier Turner(Mississippi State) PG 20 6-2 195lbs C+ C C+ C+ C A SO
Looking at Turner and how he plays the game, you'd think he could play SF or PF. Zavier is a very strong PG, who likes to play inside and get lots of board; he reminds me of Jason Kidd in that sense. But he's still very raw. He really needs to improve his PG skills and his shot. His 3point shot is very ineffective. He started at PG in college but got injured his freshman year, he then played SG the rest of his career because of his huge frame. Scouts love the uniqueness of Turner and he could sneak into the lottery.
B DaShawn Suber(Kentucky) PG 21 5-11 170lbs C C C+ A- D B JRLooking for the best defender in this draft? Well you found him. DaShawn is a freaking best on perimeter defense. No one gets by him, and if you try, he'll steal the ball from you. And he'll get you more steals than anyone else in this draft. His offense, on the other hand struggles to find consistency. He does have a solid jump shot, but that's about it. Suber has good quickness and has all the tools to be a good PG. I think Suber will be around in this league for a while solely because of his defense.
B- Sterling Gibbs(Seton Hall) PG 23 5-11 170lbs B+ C C+ C D+ BGibbs can fly! Well not quite, but he can put on a show. He's only 5-11, but he has great athleticism. He handles alright, and has good quickness. Even though his shot isn't that great, he gets a lot of his points by driving to the basket. Gibbs needs to tune up his defense and he could be a dangerous player. I'll say it right now, don't expect anything big out of Gibbs. An A- inside player with C+'s across the board is a realistic projection, which many GMs would gladly take.
B- Steve Frankoski(Rutgers) PG 23 6-2 175lbs B- B+ C+ C+ D+ C
Steve was a stud at Rutgers. He was a unanimous all American. Unfortunately for him, since he played against weaker competition than the big conferences, he gets little from from uosl2 scouts. He's got game, don't get me wrong, but they don't see much growth out of him. However there are a few that believe F'Ski does have what it takes to be a legit starter in uosl2. No one really knows what will happen to Steve or where he'll end up. F'Ski would be a good player to scout.
