not really fact or fiction, but I'm bored.
I bet most people will say Deshaun Thomas.
But IMO, the biggest busts were Jabari Parker and Kyle Wiltjer. Both are former #2 picks struggling to find a place in UOSL2. Kyle is perhaps the biggest bust. He never did anything. At least Parker had a couple nice years with Houston.

But he was the #4 pick. Engel probably died the quickest. But Kyle Wiltjer was a top pick and NEVER did shit. I don't think he ever surpassed his rookie ratings |
