90 mil hard cap. I love no hard cap, but it keeps the league relatively balanced.

let's make hard cap the same as regular cap. better yet, let's all head to a high school gymnasium, turn the lights out, and somebody can whip about 100 golf balls at the walls randomly and see how many people are not phased after 20 minutes.

In my opinion, the soft salary cap needs to be bumped up soon. $50 Million seems way to low for the year this league is in. The NBA boosts the salary cap every year for a reason.

Well if I do that, Max contracts will be ridiculously high making it impossibly for teams to stay under the hard cap, and I really don't want the hard cap ever exceeding more than 90-100 million... I could live with a small bump ever year. Like .5million in soft cap every year. |

The longer a league goes, the more big/max contracts begin to take form. That's just standard longevity that will do that. An ideal cap situation, in my opinion, would be a $56.5 Million Soft Cap with a $95 Million Hard Cap.
Even that soft cap will seem low after awhile, but if you don't want to increase much, I think this would be the best option to just keep it at. To put it in perspective, the current NBA Salary Cap is set at $55.63 Million and that's for the 2007-2008 season, whereas we are already heading into the 2013-2014 season.
