Not voting for either candidate but maybe someone is voting for McCain because they agree with his policies? Well I want to hear Ducky reasoning behind him "definitely not voting for Obama". If he left the word "definitely" out of his post..I wouldn't have bothered with commenting on it but "definitely" disturbs me. I doubt Ducky has even read or watched anything going on with this presidential race. Maybe he doesn't believe in wealth distribution? Maybe he believes in a pre-emptive war? Maybe he is voting for him because he's white, like you're voting for Obama because he's black?

I don't get you, why not Obama? McCain voted on the NCLB. Because NCLB isn't the only measuring stick I use. I disagree with democrats on basically every other issue.

Not sure who I am voting for. I have yet to register which is something I should do. It is tough for me to say but If and when I vote it will most likely be McCain. Unless I just go with Ron Paul! haaha show some love to the party that never wins.

I'm leaning Obama, maybe even consider Bob Barr just as to not pigeon hole myself into the dumb 2 party system.
I have a hard time agreeing with Republicans on a lot of issues (I'm a liberal independent I guess) since I'm neither wealthy or religious (not to say that's all Repubs, but they certainly appeal to those crowds). I disagree with Palin on just about everything, and I don't believe McCain would deal with the economy as well as Obama. If the economy stays the main issue in the election, it's hard to see McCain winning.
Electing Obama could also give America better standing worldwide, since the international community seems to embrace him. I honestly don't think either would be a terrible president, especially after following Bush, but I think Obama would do more for the country. Regardless of who we elect though, there will still be "national security issues", the 2nd amendment will be upheld, abortion will be an unresolvable issue, we'll probably end up in Iran or another Middle Eastern country, and we'll be wondering where were these things that were promised at. Education will take a backseat once again as always, and the problems of inner city America, although Obama is more knowledgeable in that aspect, will continue to fester while we try to play peace-keeper overseas so we can control and rape resources.
I'll honestly say I'm not deep into politics and I could certainly know the issues better, but I can't see myself voting for McCain at this juncture.

I doubt Ducky has even read or watched anything going on with this presidential race. I've actually watched all the debates so far. And I enjoy following the race. I just don't like some of the issues Obama stands for. A couple examples: The War (Obama wants to relocate), Abortion, Homosexuality, Stance on taxes, etc... The economy sucks, and neither Obama or McCain will be able to do much about it. And I lol'd one time when I was listening to Obama on ways to cut down gas prices/spending. One of things he said was to increase tire pressure. Overall I'm more conservative (especially when it comes to moral values), then I am liberal. Why are you voting for Obama, whore?

i'm leaning obama.
similar reasons to what jay stated. obama has a plan to deal with the economy, while mccain has yet to state one. mccain has said "depends on this or that".. not a very reassuring answer to the nation imo.
as far as the war goes, i dont see any good reason to keep on pouring money into a persistent surge for no concrete reason, something that mccain plans to continue. obama wants to withdraw some troops and bring them home/or send them to afghanistan.
i dont follow politics that much either, but the economy and war is what matters to me, and so far that has me leaning towards obama.

Honestly, I think the media blows up the fact hat Palin is inexperienced and lacks knowledge in foreign affairs. She seemed fine in the debate. In fact, I would have liked to see her debate in the presidential election, because McCain is not a good debater.
