-Each GM will have a chance to write two articles per season and get points for it. -Points will be between 1-5 and they can add it to any player's attribute besides potential. - A player can only receive one upgrade each season -When you post the article a poll has to be posted with it as well Each option in the poll will be a point option such as 1,2,3,4 and 5. -GM's vote on how many points the article will receive. Here is a sample of how the writer should post their article

So does the options with the most votes get the points, or is it some sort of average?
Also how long do you have to wait before you PM what attribute you want changed?
Just some clarifications need IMO.

he is asking, how is the total bonus calculated. Is it by the most popular answer, or a average on a per vote basis. (a 5 vote worth 5 points, 4 worth 4, etc and add up all votes and find the average bonus #)
His other question is how long do we wait before posting the bonus and getting it processed. I've noticed it is often it turns into wait a week or two and say something.
I have one of my own. When does the calender year start. At what in the year can we write another articles and get credit for them.

This has been going on for awhile now and these questions I just found really silly, since andrew should know them all.
If there are 8 people for five points and 4 people for 4 points and 2 people for 3 points, you get the 5 points. Whatever has the most number of votes gets the points. that is how it has been done forever. We have been doing most popular answer.
How long you wait is usually next sim, or whenever ashes does it, pm it to him when the VOTING is pretty much done and he will do it whenever he sims.
Sim 1 -TC i believe is the calendar year

The calendar year should be as follows:
Sim 1 => Everything in between > Sim 1

I'm pretty sure the season begins with the draft.

A year officially starts once Sim 1 is completed. And ends after TC. Once the new year starts, all the articles you earned, are erased, and you are reset to 0.

So as I said: Sim 1 => Everything in between > Sim 1

So does that mean there is a dead period between TC and sim 1? (aka if you write an article that is after TC but before sim 1, where does it count?).

My question exactly, one of my articles is in limbo that cannot be reconciled until this clarified.

Just because sim 1 wasn't uploaded or not up doesn't mean the season did not start. Sim 1 starts after TC is completed.

I think that we need to look at this question in terms of a start/finish line. A strict line where the years ends and a new one starts. If we are to go by ashes, then when sim 1 is uploaded is this hard line, meaning that my TC grades article does not count.
