Agreed - Doesn't look great but hear me out... For starters, Velasco is NOT as sexy as his ratings look. Yes he's a killer defender but even on an awful team he can't average more than 14ppg as a #2 option, thats brutal. Secondly, he's expiring and I have NO intention of maxing him out... also I'm banking on Indy having to rebuild SOMETIME and hopefully I have their pick that year and finally, the other offers for him sucked.
Oh and Velasco declined this TC too

I had no idea I'd have a chance at him but I guess I did. If I had Velasco and he offered me that, I'd probably laugh at him or ignore him. Those picks will suck.
