Discuss the draft here.
Jefferson was the obvious #1. I wonder what the next selections will be.

Don't need a guard, so I took Blaise. Hopefully he pans out. His rebounding might need some IT'ng.

Extremely fortunate to land the top pick and get Jefferson, hopefully he, Teal and Cornelius can help the team get back on track!!

I cnat believe that the draft held status quo but I got knocked out of the lottery. The difference between 2 and 4 in this draft is great.

hmm, Harris. I think it makes sense, it makes Ralston Turner a piece of meat to comb the trade wire with.

Eddie should be nice, but I'm not a fan of bigs with no defense, so I went with Desrosiers.

I think we will be seeing a guard go next. The next best players on my board are III and White

A- Michael Gbinije (Florida State) PF 19 6'8'' 220 B C B- C- C+ A
risk/reward type of player. hopefully his potential is nice. he's young so he's worth a shot.

Next one I see is a center. Portland really doesn't need another guard on the roster even though best available is probably Nixon or Triche, Mack Hickey or DeAndre Alston is who I would pick were I them (Hickey has the upside, Alston has the play now look), Alston would be a starter or near enough on that team as it stands.

It was either Ferrakohn Hall or Michael Gbinije for me at #6, but I figured that I could probably trade for a 10-15 pick to grab Gbinije. Didn't work out, but I'm happy with Hall.

Jalon White PG C B B+ C+ D+ B
2nd best available pg. I need one in case sledge gets hurt or retires soon. His notes are nice too. Quality starter and more of a pure pg than williams.
