Let me start of by saying that once again, yours was a useless post. I was not out to disprove anything. The general rule is that teams with established players are more against a restart. All you did was indirectly call me a pussy. I'm sorry, what have you done here lately? Bitch about drafting busts? Yeah, that sounds about right. It is a sad reflection of your GM'ing ability when you care about the league signifigantly more than I do (You even stated it in your one of your previous posts "I'm the most active on the trade blocks") and yet my team is still consistently better than yours, in a tougher conference no less. You're the lone renegade in the battle against a restart. If you have a better idea, then by all means indulge us. You would have to be blind to not realize what is happening here. Do you bother reading the posts you write? "The general rule is that teams with established players are more against a restart" Do you even know what a rule is? Re-read what you wrote previously, it doesn't make sense. You aren't even making a point let alone a refutation. My post wasn't useless, I pointed out a fact how GM's have left because of a stupid trade they made. Your team is getting older and you're a pussy since you couldn't get to the finals, you will now have to face the fact of rebuilding AGAIN. And your too much of a pussy to do it. Why are you calling him a pussy? When was the last time your team was relevant? Never.

i say we start in 1990 or somewhere around there, league last a lot longer. Main problem is that then teams know when to tank for good players and who will turn out good. Everyone knows that Kobe, KG, ect.. will be studs. It would be interesting though if the drafts throughout there were kinda switched around. If everyone thinks Kobe is gonna come out in this year...make him go to college for a year. Would also be nice to have some of the busts (kandi, bradley) be solid players or possibly studs. I'm not a fan of the fantasy draft idea. It will take a while to get everyone and start a draft. I say give everyone a random number, draft numbers and let people pick teams that way (like this league did). Easy way around this. Make good draft files. People will always tank, it is no big deal.

True and if we get some guys on the waiting list maybe we could do something else but to then yeah.

Hmmm.. I think even with a restart certain GMs will still tank from the beginning for decades and decades.. maybe insert a rule saying you can only tank for a certain amount of years or you'd be fired? I don't know, something needs to be done about it. love this rule. i actually hope UOSL3 has all these rules sorted out and clarified to make for a great league also, do you guys think it should have a money system? or stick with WR/IT and random +1 to +5 pts for upgrades for articles?

In my original idea I was thinking that adding another small incentive for activity would be good.
100 posts a year for an IT. +1 to +5. I think posting breeds posting and activity.

Also, I can help with the file, I have a file maker. I could do an 89 or 90 pretty easily. I also might be interested in taking a team if you guys do a draft.

I would not mind if a combo system was put in place. It would benefit player who are active and post regularly and will also give people who want to write articles and incentive.
On the year, I like the 1988 season. Provided that we do the 1987 draft right before. This would be made really easy esepecially if we were doing a fantasy draft. Whomever gets the last pick in the fantasy draft, gets first pick in the amateur draft that first year (David robinson draft BTW).

W, you should shut the fuck up. Stop calling everybody pussies for quitting. It's the internet, relax. Even if you "man" up, or whatever it won't change people's opinions.
Back to the topic, word to the mix up in drafts. Kobe should declare in 2000 with 4 years of college experience.
