how is the buyout silly? I f a player is underpreforming his contract RL teams buy them out all the time. You see at least one buyout a year in the league. If we are to simulate RL why not. I don't like the way our system works though.. A buyout isn't necessarily a bad idea, but I just don't like the way we've implemented it.

I think a point system for posting+DC+articles would be nice. But nothing outside of that. It really depends on ashes. I'm for it as long as we don't cause rating inflation.

Comparing this system to UOSL you get a larger improvment with this system. While in a good article you can get a +5 to an attribute with a max of +12/ year in bonuses (+10 with 2 good articles and a +2 misc for some other method, pick'em or giveaway). 60 points/year (± depending on the # of sims) is a good system but I would suggest that 10pts=a +2 with but only 2 upgrades can be given to a player/year.

what about bring back the bank like in UOSL1?
IMO this article incentive (+1 to +5 to players) stuff is meh. With a bank system, you can spend money on different things...earn it different ways....
what about a luxury tax? if we want to get more realistic...

I like IT hope we keep that going!! i actually did too, but why is IT limitted to one player? can we get the RNG for like 3-5 players? how realistic is it that only one player on an NBA team works extra hard in the offseason?

Instead of the bonus from articles increased the players ratings dircetly, what if the number of points you accrued changed the #of IT you had open to you. If you can get around 60 points in a season, 15pts per IT (20 pts would still be the # to have an automatic +2/+3 on the player) would makes sense to provide more players access to IT.

A few things...
1) While it may be lame to completely copy from another league.. but I think the majority of the rules used in BBS should be implemented here. They are not perfect but they have proven to not only work but create constant activity.
2)Inflation should not be a problem if we control it. Have drafts that aren't as stacked, control potential, etc. Again, BBS has done a tremendous job of doing this at the moment.
3) Let's not make any rules or ideas that take an "extra effort" to do or are a bit complicated like the whole dollar system thing. We need to not only make this league easy accessible to all to achieve RCs but at the same time time and effort needs to be put it to truly gain valuable RCs.
