i think if you're willing to make an offer you should be able to stand behind it... plus you can't really just tell people what to say.

i like you man but you make some insulting offers and expect a lot out of em. most of these gm's are way above that, and i think it's a little naive to expect not to get this treatment for it.

I dont think its a was a bad starting offer at all, most of GMs take ratings way to serious like A- always means player is better then B+, which is not a case.

Ive wrote him another PM few minutes ago(after ive realized i offered Haywood not Diop) saying Diop not Haywood -cause i was offering Haywood and others to other GMs at the same time (as almost 10 of you know to whom i sent PM at same time as i did to him), and i only offered him Diop, but Haywood was on my mind due to similar stats and ratings.

Anyway it should be forbidden to post other people-s offers, for me its the same like i know a potential of a rookie and i make it public so everyone else can now XY with good ratings has no potential at all and the guy who has him gets screwed, its just not fair, otherwise we could do everything in public, we dont need PM or AIM. Personal stuff that involve trading should be kept in secret, just like its kept in real life.

People here think too much that players are exactly the same as in real NBA or in UOSL 1, which not the case at all.

Antawn vs Brand
I dont compare them like in real life, i compare them based on ratings here and based on production. Antawn plays SG equally good for me as he did SF and PF in first 2 sims of the season. 25.6ppg 8.5rpg 1.7spg, he can play 3 positions, Brand can play PF and somewhat C. Their offense is pretty much the same for me, Antawn plays better tough, 52 % compared to 43 % from Elton. Antawn shots 44 from 3 as well. Brand is a better defender, but Antawn aint a bad one either.
So ive added a 1st rounder there just because his name is Elton and he has more value -cause most GMs go by the name.

Kaman = Diop, they-re equal, Kaman will probably be better offensive player, but Diop will be better defensively.

Livingstone for Blatche, Stevenson. I know lots of you like Livi, so do I, but lots of you like Blatche as well, at least from offers i got. So what we have here ? We have a B prospect with so-so ratings, 21 years old on one side, and A prospect, 20 years old, SF/PF with so-so ratings + Stevenson who aint a bad prospect as well. Will they be great or very good? who knows ? But two nice prospects for 1 aint bad offer either.

Ive seen Livingstone in about 7-8 sim leagues, and only in 1 he became great, and in UOSL he was good, not great.

So, yeah, i dont think this was a bad starting offer at all, actually i went with this offer as fair as i could. Sometimes i do send crappy offers when i send to teams who cant offer me much, or i cant offer them much, but when i go for superstars or young talents i try to be as fair as i can so i can get it done quickly.

i don't understand your comparison with the potential. how does your offer being made public effect you unfairly?

if we find out, does it devalue your player? i mean maybe it effects some opinions of him but these gm's have minds of their own dude... they don't think jamison is garbage... they simply don't think he's worth the stars you're aiming for.

i promise you at least 25 of these gm's aren't stupid enough to form a biased opinion just because somebody belittles your offer/player. you would have no problem trading jamison for fair value imo.

again, i apologize for saying your offer in my block before, but!!...

1) you never really expressed to me beforehand that it would offend you, so how would i know?
2) when you start saying stuff like "you ask a lot" after you make a lobsided offer, you can only expect one to defend himself.

but anyhow, i don't know why somebody doing that should lead to termination. you have my personal word i'll not do that again to you but it would be a silly rule to flat out sensor people... simply put: it's a free country. you may not like it, or see it as disrespectful when people do that but it's not like it's FBI info or anything.

I didnt know. But like lots of times, ive seen players just like everyone with close to 100 pot developing into nothing, and some with low pot developing into something, anyway its too early to say, we just started.

Kaman vs Diop, Kaman wins now being better scorer, defense is identical, but can we really know how those players will develop ? I prefer defense to offense always as long as i have 2-3 guys who can score.

Duce: Ive ment it should be just forbidden to post somebody elses offer in public, its private thing after all. When ive said @gm should be fired@, i really didnt mean that, it was a joke, i just wanted to say that GMs shouldnt be allowed to post those private negotiations in public, thats all.

BTW, I never said he had 100 potential, I'm just saying, in almost every league he's got like 95+ Potential with decent rating but sucks, its weird, a curse. Kinda like real life
