How about we do something really radical and have a dispersal draft to start the league! It would be more work for me to do contract and I'm really worn out, this spring break I was gonna relax and sleep, but this has made it more stressful, lol. So no way, keeping it normal, and I should have rosters done in 2-3 days.

Ducky. Look at my idea. It's good. Trust me. Ditch the Hornets. Move the Sonics to Oklahoma City. Move the Kings to Las Vegas if you really want to. No, the Hornets actually have talent. I want to ditch a crappy team. Like the Kings, all they got is Bibby, and he can be an FA next year, the rest can be FAs for this year. Kevin Martin and Brad Miller? I say a dispersal draft of the Bobcats players is the best idea, and something that could work. Just take 13 teams, sort them by record of last season, and run a lottery.

So no way, keeping it normal, and I should have rosters done in 2-3 days. Okay, how about this: -We move the Utah Jazz back to New Orleans (their rightful home). -We move the Hornets back to Charlotte (their rightful home). The UOSL arranges for Bob Johnson to buy the team from Shinn. -In a hallmark deal, the Sonics are re-sold, and allowed to be purchased by the Maloof brothers. Following that transaction, they're allowed to combine teams with their current Kings roster, and then move that new franchise to Las Vegas. -To compensate the Sonics owners (Oklahoma City natives) for their loss, they're allowed to purchase the Bobcats franchise that is suddenly without a home and move them to Oklahoma City. The four new teams would be the Las Vegas Kings, New Orleans Jazz, Charlotte Hornets, and Oklahoma City Bobcats. The balance of power in the league doesn't shift, but things become a lot more logical!

Scott, what the hell is an Oklahoma City Bobcat? How is Utah going to get away with their affinity for white players in New Orleans? Charlotte didn't support the Hornets when they were there, why would they now?

Charlotte didn't support the Hornets when they were there, why would they now? Because Bob Johnson is buying them from Shinn. The team will be better than what they currently have in the Bobcats. They'll show more support.

FA dude, don't fug up the drafts. just make okafor, knight etc into FAs starting the 07 offseason.

Ducky, it's not complicated at all. You switch a few team names, and that's it. The idea being that you're combining two of the shittiest old teams in the league, so it's not too big of a deal. Maybe they can compete a little bit with a Bibby/Allen/Lewis/SAR/Miller lineup?

Scott, what the hell is an Oklahoma City Bobcat? Well would you rather them be the Oklahoma City Bombers?! There aren't exactly a whole lot of appropriate/fitting Oklahoma City nicknames to choose from...

Team nicknames aren't changing, so nobody would need to get confused.
