I don't see the point in this deal for either team, however it is interesting. If I had to take a side, I'd say I like it for Dallas simply due to the fact that they received an excellent scorer + Caron Butler (whos performance in this sim with his current ratings is unknown).

Ive done it -cause i would ALWAYS take a great frontcourt player over backcourt, they-re much more valuable and harder to find, Dirk is better then Gilbert right now, Caron has offense advantage but i got my starting center in Diop.

Now i have SF-PF-C core with Jamison,Dirk and Diop, now its time to package some of many backup centers and maybe pick we have for a great PG and we-re done for this season.

Even if we-ll suck its still good, we-ll get another great player in draft

i didnt really wanna sacrifice my youth in howard and harris to get older and get more long contracts. I like the idea of getting a star 4 years younger than dirk. plus im big on defense and Arenas, Devin, Howard show good D. Dirks D was only B and he wasnt going to improve much if any. Butler is good D too and good trade bait and we got him cheap imo.
