I agree. Talent-wise, this deal is extremely lopsided, but that doesn't really effect me. O'Neal was only hurting the team by winning games and his contract was much too big. I gain a ton of cap, get a decent young player, and a 1st rounder in what should be a deep draft. Bucks get a steal here.

Major value for the Bucks, major. Surely you could have waited a little bit longer? Honestly, it's not a big deal to me. A lot of teams don't have the expiring or not looking to deal it. This trade will hardly make or break my team, although I agree that I possibly could have waited and done better. Everything is out of the way, and I can move on to worrying about the future. Funny thing is, I haven't once though about the prospect of getting Oden or Durant. I was more concerned with freeing money and possibly getting Gerald Wallace or Emeka. |

Anyway, as for the deal--I hate to comment, but I can easily understand it for Indiana. Not gonna win big any time soon, and JO has a big contract, so you go in a different direction and deal him for less than his likely value. Makes you immediately worse and you get a good prospect out of it.
