Easily could have picked up a top 5 pick at the end of the season for JO I reckon.

Easily could have picked up a top 5 pick at the end of the season for JO I reckon. I dont think so....Jo has a large contract and teams in the top 5 are rebuilding. So why would they trade for a player who would affect that?

Sometimes good teams acquire good picks.

I agree.
Jo was just too good to pass up at this price.

I hate when someone goes for cheaper then I expect. eh, i offered pierce or odom+ in a deal but nothing happend with that after a few days of heavy talks....i guess this deal was just a matter of what he wanted, not value....he could have found a better young prospect and more picks though. this looks like the type of deal he explained in his blocks, so this doesnt come as a suprise to me although he should have got more.

Doesn't matter, Indiana could have easily gotten much more for JO... I would have given Villy and like 3 1sts for JO, psh.

horrible deal for the pacers, you at least get some good firsts if you want to rebuild.

You guys are surely jumping the gun? This is no where near as bad as the Lakers/Suns and the Magic/Grizzlies deals.

This trade has taught me something though. Next time I'm going to post a fake lopsided trade and wait for GMs to tell me what I shoulda got or they would have gave, and see if I can actually get it. One team was just trying to give me just expirings. Only 1 GM actively talked trade with me, and JO's been on the block forever. Not using that as an excuse for anything (as I feel no different on the trade now as I did then), I just love the crystal clear hindsight, mostly by GMs who made no attempt to get him.

Now, can we get a season ending NBL sim Andy?
