I seriously doubt the Sonics would back out of a deal like this..lol You should be safe. They got Jack and multiple 1sts when they only wanted one 1st. yeah i doubt they back out scott. i thought you wanted to keep the youngions and build on that, but i guess you went for a pure scorer, which is cool. After this trade if you don't move up some playoff spots you'll look real stupid though. |

Good old Jeremy. He made his team worse this year no doubt about it. I'm guessing he's banking on the fact that Allen will improve him next season.

Jeremy, I still kept Aldridge, Roy, and Randolph (my big original trio). I added Crawford and now I added Allen. I'm still a young team overall still. And I don't expect to move up the playoff spots this season considering Allen is hurt for 34 days.

I'm guessing he's banking on the fact that Allen will improve him next season. thats far from the truth. team is headed in right direction. plus the record will be better come season's end. in addition to that we've beaten legit teams this year. we are just so young that we don't have consistency just yet. |

Man, and best i could get for Dirk was two doubtful 1sts and ppl are giving good 1sts for Allen  Sonics, you cant buy out Miles, his contract is over 13 mil. You got Iverson!!! lol EXACTLY ! For whom i got 0 offers. I expected much more for currently league's best player then just AI, no youth and 2 god knows how good picks (and its a reason why ive traded him 'cause if nobody offered something good for Dirk at this point i doubt anyone would when he is 30+ y.o). Picks might end up lotto (which i hope so and why i accepted) as Spurs are old but if they keep Dirk, he alone can take them to POs just like he did took us to a title without any true help except Jamison and occasionaly good Haywood and Diop. 2 more teams sent me good offers for Dirk as well (one was with 2 1sts as well, but Spurs alike) but players who were either expirings (no birds) or older. Like this i got rid of long contracts and despite my politics to not trade an All-Star to an already great team i did it for 1st time. |

also, i want to have mostly solid players in their mid to low 20's, which i have done. and actually they have performed very nicely. i can already see an improvment from last year to this year. i definitely expect my team to be playoff bound next year. we're actually not too far from sneaking in this year, but i'm not sure it will happen.

allen is 32 years old, not past his prime yet and will help a young competitive team play better with some vet scoring. nice deal
