UO, your not seriously complaining about your draft are you?
I LOVE it. Who cares if they go to lower-end schools, if anything, that helps you, because they were probably very good players who were undervalued and you got lower then they should have gone.
The Harrell pick was kind of a reach, but the kid is a heck of a player, he'll be a good player.
Jackson is the major sleeper at RB...watch out for him, he could be this year's stud rookie RB.
James Jones is interesting, the kid isn't great, but he will be a solid #2/good #3.
Rouse is the one pick I really don't like.
Barbre...if this is a kid your complaining about cause he went to a small school, don't, if he went to a legit school, he'd have been a 2nd round pick with ease...he'll be a very good OT for you guys.
Clowney is solid, he's a speed-demon.
Hall I don't know much about, but it's a 6th rounder.
Bishop's a very interesting player, he's an ideal special teams player who can also chip in on defense, Ike Reese type guy...not bad at this point.
Crosby is a terrific K, should have been the 1st taken.
Wynn is a decent pick at this point, could end up being a Reno Mahe type back for you guys, gets occasional carries and some receptions, plays special teams.
Harris, your getting a pretty solid player, as someone who saw every Rutgers game last year, he has the potential to be a starter, he just needs some work.
If anything, I'd say you had one of the better drafts.

your opinion of these draft players absolutely baffles me. i don't mean to be a complete dick but i basically disagree with 75% of this post alone.

Jackson>Jarret? Rice? Come on man, we draft a shitty RB in 2nd round and a shitty WR in 3rd round when we could have gotten someone like Dwayne Jarret or Rice...

These are guys you can draft in the 2nd day! Why waste it on guys who could turn out shit? Go after someone who you know will be a decent player.

i'm real amped with the way the eagles look right now. the guys they drafted/sign outside of kolb are gonna really push for playing time and possibly get a player or 2 cut from the roster. the team really addressed every area except WR and OL, and i can understand why.
with kearse, gocong and bunkley being impact pass-rush talents; patterson, spikes, trotter really bringing some toughness to the d... and obviously dawkins leading a probowl secondary this defense could be excellent... course much will rely on the d-line health and performance.
offensively i feel like everyone already saw last year how good it was. the o-line is awesome, and with mcnabb back the running game being used at the same time - that will certainly be greater. very good set of receivers... this is just a solid team with superbowl expectations. i'm excited.

Pretty happy with the draft for my Jets. I guess the focus for Tannenbaum and Mangini was quality over quantity. We got too pretty much sure-fire opening day starters in Revis (who I think was a better choice than Hall) and Harris. We might have given up a bit much in a our 2nd trade, but I'll give the front office the benefit of the doubt.

Thank god you took Revis. It left Hall for us and we didnt get stuck with Revis. And then you guys fucked us getting Harris cuz him and Durant were our 2 targets in round 2 and they both went right b4 us.

I love the jets draft so far. Got two guys. CB Darrelle Revis, much needed for us and we address that here. ILB David Harris, to go along with the 3-4 defense we have. i love what we have done, Barton, Harris, Vilma and Hobson. Nasty set of LBS. I'd rather start Thomas over Hobson. That OL prospect looks like he has potential... also hopefully Stuckey can make the team.

I like hobson but that is just me. yeha the prospect on the OL looks great, hopefully he will be realiable in the near future. stuckey is a quick guy, i like what he can do. Cotchery and him could have some fun with some cool play calls.
