They must have offered a TON of money to get him since he had said he didn't want to upset Sox fans by signing with the Yanks.
Then again, their pitching sucks, so they probably did offer upwards of 20 million.

Who the fuck cares, George does not care how much it will cost him to get the rocket back as a yankee, frankly i dont think anybody should care. He is worth that money, and we need pitching badly. So for a guy that will give us at least 6 innings a game and contribute in many others way I would pay him that money.

It's pro-rated, so it'll be around 18 million, maybe higher.
