How bout Kellen Clemens having the best showing as any QB so far this preseason.
Could he start for NY?

Been aight so far. How bout Kellen Clemens having the best showing as any QB so far this preseason. Could he start for NY? Nah, its Pennington's job to lose. Barring injury, Pennington starts. Clemens is the future starter, in like a few years or so. |

Kellen Clemens had a nasty performance but it was only pre season nothing to get to worked up about. It really means nothing. Though down the road I could see him as a potential starter for the Jets, when Pennington is done here. But starting this year is a no go, Chad was given the nod in the winter.

So he throws short passes, he wins games, thats all that matters to me. Thomas jones, injuryed some shit, but he will be fine. Maybe miss a preseason game or 2, but will be there opening day. |

Fuck anyone who says we should bench Chad. People forget how great he's led us to 3 playoff appearances in 5 years, one of the better stretches in team history. Clemens will have his day... he's better off waiting a few years so he can hone his skills and completely learn Schottenheimer's offense.
