Man neither the Jets or Steelers will be making playoffs. While you guys argue who is better, watch GB climb to the top. The 3-0 Steelers, whom have the leading rusher in the NFL, a top defense, and great special teams will NOT make the playoffs? Right. Well. AFC is harder, and Cincinnati will bounce back. Plus big Ben will get injured and your season will be over. kthanksbye.

They have a good offense, but the worst defense in the league..easily. They can't stop either the run or the pass. Pittsburgh will win this division fairly easily. Honestly, looking at the schedule, I see Pittsburgh going 13-3.

We are jsut 3 weeks in to the season. Pittsburgh looks good but that does not mean they going to run away with this. You still have the Ravens and Cincinnati is not a TERRIBLE team. A defense can trun around and if they just play good not great but good defense. Cincinnati could just take the division. All you have to do is look at the Colts. They had a good defense and they won it all with great offense.

its not like he was bad he just hit the bottom of the goal post and didnt get lucky. We shall see who finishes with a better record you talk to much game for a shity team. Oh come on, the dude missed two field goals to win the game. That's a shitty kicker in my opinion. And dude, they really aren't a shitty team. Teams have off years that are often a result of winning a Super Bowl, you QB getting hit by a car, having an appendectomy, and getting a concussion. I'll even go position by position with your team, and we compare pretty damn well talent wise: QB: Push. I'll even be kind enough to make it even simply a push because Big Ben is coming off of a rough year. However, Roethlisberger, in his three years of play, has had more success than Pennington did in his first seven seasons. Pennington has a record if 31-24 in games that he started. Roethlisberger is 29-11. RB: Steelers. Willie Parker is coming off of a Pro Bowl season in which he ran for 1494 yards and 13 TD's, and also had 222 receiving yards and 3 TD's. 16 total TD's. Thomas Jones is a bit of an upgrade, but he's no Willie Parker. WR's: Push. Hines Ward is the best blocking receiver and one of the most complete guys in the game. Ward had nearly as many yards and did have as many TD's in two less games than Coles. Santonio Holmes came on strong towards the end of his rookie year and is going to have a hell of a year. Cotchery has proven to be a really nice second receiver as well, so I'll call this one even. FB: Steelers. Dan Kreider is one of the most punishing and technically sound FB's in the entire league. Barnes seems to be a bit of a journeyman in his young career. TE's: Steelers. Heath Miller is really the only TE on either team to have put up significant numbers. Hard to argue here as the Jets are going with a bit of an unknown with Baker being a first year starter. OL: Jets. I'll give you guys the upper hand here because half of the Steelers offensive line is a bit shaky. We're going in with a new C, and the right side is a question mark. The left side of our line is as solid as anyone's, but the Jets seem to have a solid line all around. Ferguson and Mangold are both damn good players. DL: Steelers. This is one of the strongest area's for the Steelers, plus you have one of our rejects, haha. Aaron Smith is one of the most underrated players in the NFL, and Casey Hampton is the best NT in the league. Ellis and Robertson are both good as well, but I wouldn't trade either for Smith/Hampton. Keisel and Kimo are about a push right now, but Kimo is gettin' up there. LB's: Jets. I'll give you the edge for now, simply because we have a bit of an unknown at ROLB. James Harrison should prove to be a monster, but time will tell on that one. Both teams have some pretty damn talented linebackers. CB's: Jets. The Steelers CB's are coming off of a down season. Even though Hank Poteat is one of your top back-ups, I'll give the Jets the edge here for now. Dyson and Miller are both solid, and hopefully Revis can provide some valuable time. Safeties: Steelers. While Rhodes has proven to be one hell of a player, I definitely wouldn't take him over Troy. We have a position battle at FS, but they're both just damn nasty. Safety is one of the stronger points of the Steelers. K: Jets. Reed kinda' blows. Nugent doesn't. P: Steelers. Our P is a linebacker in a P's body. I'd take him over anyone in the damn league! www.youtube.com/watch?v=_FhCgLeuO0IThat's what he can do! ---- Talent wise, the teams are pretty even. The Steelers finished the season 6-2 last year and played some damn good football. They certainly aren't a "shitty" team as you so proclaim. Time well tell the truth though. I tried comparing the teams as unbiased as possible, but I'm interested to hear some of the Jets fan's perspective. Just for DB, I'd like to revise this before I leave you all. QB: Steelers. Pennington is god awful. Big Ben is having a damn good year. Although, wait, Pennington did look great against the Giants. RB: Steelers. Willie Parker/Najeh Davenport > The Jets team. FB: Steelers. We have two really good one's. The Jets don't have a really good player at any position. WR: Steelers. Our back-ups, which you guys said were bad, stepped up in place of both Santonio Holmes and Hines Ward during our 21-0 shut-out. Deep, talented unit. TE: Steelers. No argument can even be made. The Steeler's TE's are just nasty. OL: Steelers. They've been dominant lately. I like dominant. The Jets don't. DL: Steelers. One of the best in the league. The Jets, once again, can't even touch the Steelers here. LB's: Steelers. James Harrison has quickly made us all forget that Joey Porter left. He's a monster. The rest of our LB's are playing great. DB's: Steelers. Easily. We have three GREAT safeties, a GREAT corner, and two other really damn good CB's. The Jets secondary looked stellar against Plaxico. K: Steelers. Reed is a new man. 9/9 this year and he's booting kickoffs. P: Steelers. Sepulveda is god, but the Jets get much more use out of there P, hahahaha. --- I love you DB. You just remind me all the time of how dumb you made yourself look throughout this thread. I win. I leave this league as the winner. I was born a winner. You weren't.

"I was born a winner, you were not" awesome. He just quoted what I said. What's even better is that he called me out way back when on the Steelers like the ignoramus that he is. I always just argued my point, but he likes to do the name calling thing. Problem being that he really isn't a very intelligent person. He's actually one of the dumbest people I've encountered in a sim league. It's good stuff. Makes me chuckle.
