Basketball #1 by far for me, the rest are all close 2nds. Not too much into soccer, but glad Beckham is here to try and promote it.

Sucks, MLS is as bad as the Australian league, quality wise. That was an entertaining game for an American, not really for a football purist. It's good to see Becks over there though, giving the greatest sport in the world some time in the spotlight.

Looking at the highlites, the game was like watching Fifa, non-stop action. If the MLS can get more of those games in, guaranteed success for football.

The defense is shit, but US team's offenses aren't as bad as people think. I think they'd score just as much against other US teams than they would against European league teams.

well, soccer definitely does suck to watch imo(including the world cup, including everything). i love playing it, i find it very self rewarding based on the skill it takes and significance of a good play but to watch it is just death.

It's not AS bad, but comparing it to English/Italian/Spanish football is a crime.

I loved when Drew Carey (massive converted soccer fan) was talking on a talk show about the World Cup. To explain it to the American public, he said that it was basically 64 Superbowls in 32 days with 1 giant one in the end, that was twice as big as any Superbowl ever. Pretty accurate IMO.

My country played their first ever international game in 1990 ( few months before independence) against USA. We won 3-0 of course.

Yeah, it's alright. Definitely not as much as Basketball, Football, and Baseball. But probably my 4th favorite sport to watch. there's like 4 sports what about Tennis, Golf, Hockey, Nascar, Rugby, and shit like Xgames (skateboarding, biking, etc...), and competitive cheer!? There's easily more than 4 sports. I for one, have taken a keen liking to competitive cheer.
