Ty Lawson Point Guard 5'11" 193lbs North Carolina(Freshman) C+ C B C D A Strengths: Ty Lawson is a sexy PG. He is amazing in transition and always gets the ball to the open man. He has amazing handles, doesn't turn over the ball a lot. Has a unique style of game. He's a big guy and has great strength for his size. Weaknesses: Ty Lawson's game is still raw and is still learning. He needs to work on his complete offensive game. It's not horrible, but it does need to improve. Ty also needs to desperately improve his defense. If he wants to play in the NBA, he's going to need better than that. Status: Declared

Felton with more strength, better around the basket, and less of a shot.
They've got the same blow-by quickness and are identical in transition.

Yeah, Agree with pretty much everything you said, although I think Lawson has better PG skills than Felton (By a decent Margin).

Ty Lawson is still 50-50. Scouts say his stock will likely rise because of the lack of PGs and because of his great frame for a PG.

Lawson was disappointed by GMs not showing interest, so he'll return for another season at UNC.

Lawson is still undecided. This class is stacked so he may wait a year. However the return of Rose to the Tigers raises his interest. He says he'll decide near the deadline.

I'd definitely consider Lawson as a top ten prospect. Good handles for a rook, and his defense ain't too shabby like many of the other prospects.
