Strengths:
Capable of controlling games with his heady ball handling from the point guard position, Calathes finds the open man early and rarely over dribbles. As a scorer, Calathes can hit from deep and he is very effective in the mid-range with his floater.
Weaknesses:
Not an overwhelming presence on defense, Calathes gets the job done with his understanding of spacing and angles and with his length. Also, for a man of his size, he is quite weak. Needs to bulk up to be a dominant force.
