He's not a big man like Oden who can move well and is extremely athletic. He doesn't really jump when he plays... javascript:window.open('video.asp?section=bbrecruit&pkey=63042&vidtype=prospect&vidid=108778','video','height=850,width=812,toolbar=no, menubar=no, scrollbars=yes, resizable=yes, location=no, directories=no, status=no');void(''); type in his name and click search and watch his video. Great shot blocker and solid rebounder. He dominates inside, but that's because he's playing against smaller guys. In the UOSL, with his lack of quickness, hops, and post moves, I don't see much of an offensive game from this guy. A Tyson Chandler that will put up 14-16ppg. Potential willing, I see Riek ending up with B- inside.

Yes I could see him end up being a shaq type player on defense.

John Riek is a freaking stud. If Rubio wasn't in this draft, Riek would be the easy #1 choice. Riek isn't very athletic and lacks a offensive game, but holy shit can he plays D and rebound. He is the best shot blocker in the draft, and plays very solid defense. With his 7-2 250 frame he's hard to drive by. John can also out rebound pretty much anyone out there. He's going to be a great player. 'Nuff said.
Jeremy Tyler is probably the best all around center in this draft. He can score inside, and has an alright jump shot for a big man. He plays good hard defense, and can block shots. His rebounding may not be great, but he'll get the job done. Tyler is a little undersized at 6-10 for center. And while he isn't the strongest player, his athleticism makes up for his lack of size/strength. Tyler has shown good improvement every year. And should be a solid contributer wherever he goes. I don't think Tyler will ever reach the peak where he is a franchise player, but what I do know is he'll end up starting on any team he gets drafted by.
Deshawn Painter. One of the more balanced plays is Painter. Even though he is a little small for a center, he is a strong guy, and can rebound against anyone. He has good scoring and has good foot speed for a big man. An injury in his freshman year has slowed him down, but he insists he's back to normal. So far I'd agree, but his defense has show no improvement since HS, if not worse improvement. Painter could go lotto of someone needs a good big man, but mid first sounds about right.
Tony Woods is a very unique player. He isn't a scorer and isn't very strong, but he's very athletic and can shut down any post player. He is a good shot blocker and can clean up on the glass. Woods is 23, and that is a turnoff for some GMs, but I think people need to look post his age and see what kind of lock down defender Woods is. But does Woods have the potential to be great? Scouting him is very difficult because he is so different. Inviting him to a camp would be a wise idea, because how Woods will end up is a big question mark.
Eduard Lukash is a beast. He's one of the tallest players to be in UOSL2. This 7-4 can dominate inside. He'll put up points quickly, by basically putting the ball over the small defenders and into the hoop. GMs are really considered about Lukash because his scoring is his main strength, yet he hasn't really faced any real competition. So taking Lukash will be a huge risk, especially considering he can't rebound worth shit.
