NOTES
A- Art Kimber(Purdue) SG 19 6-5 185lbs B- C+ C C+ D+ A FR
Taking a young player can always be a risk. But Kimber is probably one of the safer picks than any other freshman out there. At Purdue, he showed great consistency, and goo overall play. The only weakness you'll find in Kimber is his small frame, and lack of strength/rebounding. Once he hits the weights in uosl2, he should be fine. Kimber has great athleticism and has great upside. Kimber should be a mid lotto pick.
A- Kevin Ferrell(Michigan State) SG 21 6-3 195lbs C B B C+ D+ B JR
Kevin is a very solid player. His jump shot is dead on, RIP anyone? And his 3point shot keeps defenders honest. He has good quickness, and makes a lot of nice passes for SG. You probably don't want Ferrell to play PG, because he will turn it over. His defense is a little behind, but he should end up being a solid starter one day.
A- Travon Jackson(Marquette) SG 21 6-6 185lbs C+ B- C+ C C- A JR
Travon has a nice upside. He's tall with great wingspan and he's got crazy hops. His offense is getting bett every year and he has amazing quickness for a SG. his defense is a little raw, but he's really turned on his shot blocking. His sophomore year he averaged 0.1, and his junior year he averaged 0.8. And he's also improved his strength and he should be an all around player by the time he gets some serious minutes in uosl2. Jackson won't be a stud, but he has the potential to be a good starter.
A- Marc Brown(Texas) SG 22 6-7 195lbs C+ A- C C+ C- B
Everyone likes a seasoned veteran like Marc Brown. He's got good understanding of the game, and thanks to being 4 years in college, his game has really progressed and he's turned into a stereotypical SG. Brown can score, and I mean it. He averaged 25ppg his senior year at Texas. His 3point shot is the best in this class. The rest of his game is starting to come around nicely as well. Marc would be a good player to scout, because right now he has a ton of talent, but how he can go is what is unknown.
B- Andrew Calomeris(Syracuse) SG 20 6-7 190lbs C+ C+ C+ C+ C- B SO
The thing scouts love most about Calo is his height. He's got great length and he's very versatile. He's got solid quickness and he can put on a show with his dunks. He's not a good 3point shooter and he doesn't handle the ball real well, but he is a high percentage FT shooter and passes well for his size. Calomeris could go higher than late first, but his B scouted potential is a turn off for a lot of GMs.
B- Jehovan Carter(Ohio State) SG 23 6-4 195lbs C B+ C C+ D+ A
Carter is a wild card. He's older and probably more uosl2 ready than lots of other players projected to be drafted in front of him, yet scouts think he still has a lot of potential, and could improve. Carter is relied on mostly for his shot, but he also plays hustle defense. I'll tell you now though, Carter is either a bust or a steal. He won't be in between.
