One example of how UOSL runs differently is that every time a rule was introduced, it got about 6+ pages of discussion and ideas before something was settled on. And decisions didn't usually come from the top; guys like Ducey, Basketface, Bizzle, me and Maarin all took part in making rules.
Those discussions never, ever involved one person going after another. That's just the way it was. My point is, if someone like Scott had a problem with comping DCs, there'd be a thread about it that involved discussion and ideas. Do we sound like a bunch of vaginas? Maybe. But it's the way we went about things, and I think the change of pace of bickering within UOSL2 is what led to everyone's frustration. Just a point worth considering, not blaming anyone, just trying to show how things were.

I was an original in SLC1.....it restart and was SLC2.....ducky took over as commish then after a while restarted it as UOSL...... So I was a true original and they chased me away!!
....btw I'm kidding about the sick em part.....

I have no problem being easy going and agreeable if we can just run a normal sim league. If nobody calls me out, I'll try to do the same. I do think there should be a rule against CPU'ing DCs though. That's almost unforgivable. Anyone that has ever talked to me on AIM at least a few times can attest that you'll have no problem communicating with me or having a decent conversation. Some people have really over-reacted. I'll admit I may have overreacted, but you were out of line bashing shaun & aaron, and there was no need for it. You are active and seem to be a good GM, but bashing people and spamming the boards with nonsense isn't needed. If you can stop bashing people and stop doing this BBS-NBN argument nonsense(which apparently you have), we shouldn't have a problem. I'll just put this out there for anyone that hasn't realized it by now: The whole NWO thing was/is a joke. I have a bit of a reputation for being a hothead, so I was taking that to a completely different level. Mostly for entertainment value and increased activity/debate. I was acting much the same way a professional wrestler would to incite the crowd and opponents. I was being over the top just for the sake of being completely over the top. It was funny to the NBN guys, but little did I/we know most of the BBS guys were going to take it very seriously. The excessive cursing and name calling was mostly an act though. It'll only become for real if Musta joins this league, violates the hard cap, plagiarizes an article, and then gets his penalties removed a season or two early!!! (That's an NBN joke for those of you that don't know.) |
