UOSL2 2025 DRAFT GRADES
#1 Cleveland Cavs
Rudy Mbemba PG 6'5'' 188 20 C B B+ C+ C A ... C+ B+ A- B- C B
This kid is gonna be a stud and should be the Cavs starting Point Guard of the future.
Draft Grade: A+
#2 Utah Jazz
Demetris Foughtner SF 6'8'' 220 20 C+ C+ B- C B A ... C+ B- B C B+ A
Jazz loves versatile players and Foughter is a perfect fit for them. He should become a very nice player in the future.
Draft Grade: A
#3 Toronto Raptors
John Iruko C 7'3'' 297 19 C+ D- D- B- B+ A ... C+ D- F+ B+ A- A
Great pick here and I thought he would go in the top 2. The kid already looks like a beast at age 19! He should only get better in the future.
Draft Grade: A+
#4 Toronto Raptors
Rashaan Hollman SG 6'6'' 225 20 B+ C+ C- C- C- A ... B+ B C- C C A
RISKY pick here but I like how Hollman has progressed in TC. His scoring is insane right now but the rest of his game still needs work. Hopefully the Raptors won't regret this pick.
Draft Grade: B+
#5 Orlando Magic
Virgil Parker C 6'10'' 265 21 B D+ C- C+ C+ A ... B D+ C- B- C+ A
Safe pick here. Not sure where he'll fit in Orlando since they already have a glut of centers. Hopefully Parker doesn't bust!
Draft Grade: B
#6 Seattle Sonics
Mangisto Arop PF 6'11'' 245 20 C D+ C- B B A ... C D+ C- B+ B B
Nice pick here since Seattle needed a PF and Arop fits in perfectly. I would thought he would go higher than this pick. He should get better in the future. Obvious selection here and a good one.
Draft Grade: A
#7 Philadelphia 76ers
Channing Doerman SF 6'9'' 235 21 B B- C- B- C+ B ... B B C- B C+ C
Safe pick here. Doerman was the most UOSL ready coming into this draft. He should become a good player for Philly.
Draft Grade: A-
#8 Portland Trailblazers
Kirill Slepuhka PG 5'8'' 165 19 B B C C C- A ... B A- C C C- A
Great pick here. Kirill was projected to go in the top 3. His size just scared GM's away. But Portland might of just drafted a steal here.
Draft Grade: A
#9 Boston Celtics
Amile Jefferson PF 6'10'' 238 21 B C+ D+ C C+ A ... B C+ D+ C C+ A
I thought this pick was made just based on potential. Hopefully Jefferson improves in the next TC.
Draft Grade: B
#10 Seattle Sonics
Siyani Chambers PG 6'3'' 200 21 C C B- B C- A ... C C B+ B+ C- B
Another great pick for Seattle. They needed a backup PG and they drafted a good one here.
Draft Grade: A-
#11 Memphis Grizzlies
Julius Wilkins C 6'9'' 242 20 C C- C+ B- C+ A ... C C- C+ B B- B
I thought Wilkins was drafted too early for a lotto pick and Ducky should agree. He'll be seeing a lot of bench time. So meh..
Draft Grade: C
#12 Brooklyn Nets
Elliot Watts C 6'11'' 253 22 B+ C D+ C C+ B ... B+ C D+ C+ B- B
Okay pick here since Watts should provide immediate inside scoring asap. However the rest of his game needs a lot of work.
Draft Grade: C+
#13 Miami Heat
Mitchell Drew SG 6'4'' 189 21 C+ A- C C+ C A ... C+ A- C C+ C A
Drew should become an outside scoring threat in the future, if not now. He should also get better with the rest of his game.
Draft Grade: B
#14 Toronto Raptors
Matthew Blackwell PG 6'1'' 185 20 B- C+ A- D+ C- A ... B- B- A- C- C- A
Yet another risky pick here for Toronto but Blackwell already looks sexy across the board but defense. If he can improve that, then I think this pick here could end up a steal.
Draft Grade: B+
#15 Chicago Bulls
Marc-Antoine Pellin PG 6'7'' 189 21 C C+ A- C+ C- B ... C B- A- B- C- B
I really like this pick since Pellin should provide immediate impact in passing and handling the ball. He should also become a mismatch nightmare for smaller opposing point guards. Chicago also needed a point guard.
Draft Grade: A
#16 Golden State Warriors
Jordan Miller SF 6'8'' 230 19 B D+ D+ C- B A ... B D+ C- C B+ A
Nice pick here since Miller was the best available player around this pick IMO. Miller is already a scorer and rebounder at his position but the rest of his game still needs a lot of improvement, especially for a small forward.
Draft Grade: A-
#17 Toronto Raptors
Lawrence Briggs C 7'0'' 260 22 B- C- C- B C+ B ... C+ C- C- B- C+ B
He was projected late lotto and fell to this pick. Nice selection but right now it's looking meh.
Draft Grade: C+
#18 Denver Nuggets
Donald Niang PG 6'2'' 185 19 C C B+ C C A ... C C B C+ C B
Niang is only 19 and could improve. Nuggets needed a backup PG and they drafted one here.
Draft Grade: B-
#19 Sacramento Kings
Roshune Milline PF 6'8'' 240 22 B- C- D+ B+ C B ... B C- C- B+ C+ B
Really nice pick here. Milline looks like he can provide immediate help on defense. He's undersized but he has the skills.
Draft Grade: B
#20 Utah Jazz
Traveon Henry PF 7'1'' 243 19 C C- C- C B+ A ... C C- C- C A- A
Henry came in with a lot of upside and should become a great rebounder someday.
Draft Grade: B+
#21 Detroit Pistons
Terrence Asque SF 6'9'' 230 20 C+ C C- B+ C B ... C+ C C- B+ C C
Asque was known for his defense in college but I don't think he'll be good in the pros. Random pick here. There were other better players available.
Draft Grade: D
#22 New Jersey Nets
Azeez Oladimeji PF 6'9'' 230 21 C+ B- C- C+ C A ... C+ B- C- C+ C B
Azeez had nice potential coming in the draft but he probably won't produce much in the pro's anytime soon.
Draft Grade: C+
#23 Toronto Raptors
Isaiah Ivory PG 6'2'' 196 22 B- C- C+ C+ C- A ... C+ C C+ B- D+ B
Raptors took another risk here but this one is meh again.
Draft Grade: B-
#24 New Jersey Nets
Brandon Thompson SG 6'5'' 198 22 C B C- A- C- B ... C B C- A- C- B
Nice pick here since Thompson already had a nice jump shot and solid defense. He should become a nice role player.
Draft Grade: B
#25 Philadelphia 76ers
Charis Giannapolous SG 6'5'' 190 20 C C+ C+ C+ C- A ... C C+ C+ B- C A
I really like this pick here since Giannapolous was jumping up on the draft boards and many GM's passed on him. If his potential is true, he should become a very nice player for Philly. Potential steal here.
Draft Grade: A-
#26 Minnesota Timberwolves
Darnell Bowie SF 6'6'' 218 22 C B+ C- B- C+ B ... C B+ C- B- B- B
Nice pick here. I thought Bowie already had a nice skill set for a wing and looked like he can come in and produce right away.
Draft Grade: B+
#27 New Jersey Nets
Brandon Clemons SF 6'8'' 225 20 B- C C- C C+ A ... B- C+ C- C B- B
I thought this pick was made based on potential. Boom or bust for this kid.
Draft Grade: C
#28 Philadelphia 76ers
Anthony Bagtas PG 6'4'' 200 21 C B+ C+ C+ C- B ... C A- B B- C- C
Another nice pick for Philly. I think Bagtas can produce immediately.
Draft Grade: B+
#29 Toronto Raptors
Zhang Dayu SF 6'6'' 195 21 C+ B- C C+ C- A ... C+ B- C- C+ C B
Dayu was the best player available but I don't think he will get better. So it's a meh again.
Draft Grade: C
