Eviatar Mor Position: PG Height: 6'2'' Weight: 190lbs. Age: 23 Comparison: Jason Kidd with less defense Eviatar Mor was an unknown prospect sitting on the bench for Israeli basketball club, Midgal Jerusalem. Signing with the team at a very young age, Mor found time only during practice and exhibition games. A back-up for four years on the squad, he never really got his chance to lead the team. After veteran starting PG, Dror Hagag retired at the age of 37, Eviatar Mor finally got his chance to shine. He displayed great signs of leadership and excelled in running the point. He averaged 8.6 PPG, 9.1 APG, and 6.5 RPG while committing only 2.3 TPG. He led Midgal Jerusalem to the best record in the Ligat HaAl, and went on to lead Midgal to the finals of the Eurocup, where they met and lost to the Kenny Battle Jr. led FC Barcelona club. The next two seasons, Mor averaged 7.5 PPG, 10.2 APG, and 5.4 RPG, while committing 2.8 TPG. The upcoming ULEB Eurocup is filled with promise and high hopes for Midgal Jerusalem. Strengths: One of, if not, the greatest passing PGs in foreign competition today. Has excellent court vision and an overall knack for passing the ball. His ball handling skills aren't exceptional, but are good nonetheless. He is smart with the ball and doesn't make bad decisions. He has been described as a true pass-first PG and a true team-player. He also has an uncanny ability for offensive rebounding. Not overly impressive athletically, but he does have deceptive speed and a solid vertical leap. His jump shot is adequate, but needs improvement. Defensively, he doesn't play the passing lanes often, but has been known to pick-pocket some of the best handling guards in Europe. Weaknesses: Lacks a bit of size and strength. Can only be described as poor or lackluster offensively. A terrible 3P shooter and only marginal jump shooter. Has the capability to penetrate but lacks the ability to consistently finish. Defensively, he lacks the lateral quickness to stay with faster guards, and gets manhandled by larger guards. Projected UOSL2 ratings: ?
