I like a lot of those ideas. Maybe in future drafts we can start using files from 1980 or something I dont know. It would be a good idea to get some players people know about and can relate to.
There is so little info about the players coming into the draft it is hard to like a player or be excited for your team. I think go back and bringing in older files may help. I know a lot of people hate retro which sucks, but i believe the league needs something like this.
The Jr thing is alright when you integrate a few JR players into a draft to make it more interesting, but an entire file full of them would be bad IMO. I dont really want that.

Retro might be okay if we don't take all of the stars and cram them into a draft, or randomize them. If we say, "we're starting at 80", teams will plan when to tank and when not to tank. I think randomizing it might help.
I also would like more catches and stuff from players. Like what happened with the Morris Twins, or that weird prospect in nbn who didn't have notes and was worked out against players on teams.

yeah random drafting will be good to mix it up and people will not know who is coming out till the trade deadline.

What I was thinknig was makes it up. Every draft have guys from the 60's, 70's, 80's and 90's. I mean how many of us wanted to see someone from the 70's or 80's play agaist someone from the 90's. I think this coul dbe really cool. Having Hakeem Olajuwon going up agaist Wilt Chamberlain and many more.

The league is boring as shit and everyone is to blame. Ashes does a good job simming when he says he is going to, but honestly the trade market/activity is horrific. At this point I don't want the league to fold but I really don't know what can be done to get our shit together.

At this point I don't want the league to fold but I really don't know what can be done to get our shit together. I do agree about the trade market. At one point you have danos, ferrell, sulaimon, washington, and price all on the tb and not one changed teams. I don't think there are as many teams wanting to try and contend now, instead they just want to wait and see what happens and who develops. |

I had JW and Price on the trade market, JW a few times and no one wants him? Crazy, he is putting up 25 a game. Half the league is dead. |

Personally I know a lot of people do not like this, but I think we should restart. I know a lot of guys do not want to, but I think it is mandatory for this league to survive, it is gotten to a bad point where there is nothing going on.

And I still feel if we had some real players in the drafts that most people would trade for pick to get them. Its hard to want a player when you don't know anything about him but ratings.
