Ive mentioned this to numerous people already but I thought Id post it.
First off, obviously Im not vested in this at all, and really have no place to even suggest this. Having said that, I think this is a good idea that would help everyone involved in NBN.
I was thinking that ending NBN and UOSL and starting a new league with the remaining Gms would produce a great league. Ive been in both leagues, and they are the 2 best leagues Ive been in that I have not run. There are tons of awesome Gms with great personalities.
Both leagues have struggled of late to increase activity and find new Gms. Most Gms are already in both leagues, but combining the 2 would allow for a full compliment of Gms plus a few wait list options.
This new league could draw from a bunch of people to have jobs that will make the league great.
A commish, Play?
A simmer, Ashes?
A draft guy, Ducky?
A history guy, Aar?
A activity guy, Basone?
With lots of leadership a new league would have a great possibility for success.
Maybe introduce new things that have worked well in the past...
Small amount of rewards for activities.
Advanced history section.
GM created draftees.
