I want to figure out a good system for buyouts. I don't want people to earn and spend points for buyouts. I think there should be some set rules that determine if a player can be bought out (Ex: length of contract, limit of a buyout every 3 years, etcc)

I think 3 years is good limit, not too long and not too short, if you sign somone for 6 or 7 year max, let them play for your team for at least half of it...

I think there should be some set rules that determine if a player can be bought out (Ex: length of contract, limit of a buyout every 3 years, etcc) i think you should definitely keep the rule about where the player that gets bought out goes....aka playoff teams who feel the boughtout player will fill a void in their team...i think we eventually settled on...teams who want the player had to give a paragraph on why the player should join their team...i liked that system |
