Top players in UOSL3 under the age of 23!
Number #10 – Jonas Valanciunas
Ratings: B+ C C- A- B B
Age: 22 yrs old
Stats (preseason): 16.5ppg, 10.1rpg, .8spg, 3.3bpg
Age: 22 yrs old

I commend wcscorer for putting it all the work to improve Jonas’ game. There is no doubt that it has paid off (along with some good TC’s). The last couple years Jonas has slowly improved his game to the point of being one of the top centers in the league. Anything that you look for in a traditional big man he is able to do… and do it well. His preseason stats are a precursor to what teams are going to see from him. I wouldn’t be surprised to see him as an all-star this year and for many years to come. But it’s going to be a while until the Raptors are able to compete with the lack of defense they have…. Maybe look for them to move him in the next couple years if rbx can’t build a team around him.
Number #9 – Alex Abrines
Ratings C+ A- C B- C A
Age: 21 yrs old
Stats (preseason): 19.3ppg, 4.5rpg, 1.8spg
Age: 21 yrs old
Stats (preseason): 19.3ppg, 4.5rpg, 1.8spg
The preseason stats that Abrines was able to put up were definitely a surprise. It looks like he will be worth the extra baggage that came along with drafting him. Lakers got a steal here. Abrines looks like he is a stud in a making if the work is put into him. Going to be one of the better shooters in the league right out of the gate. Ashes did a nice job of disguising him in his notes. Didn’t give away too much information. Lakers all of a sudden have a nice looking core. Before TC, they looked like a team with no direction. After TC Dwill, Rubio, and Abrines look like a seriously nice trio. You may think this is too high, but I think he is going to be a star!
Number #8 – Kyle Anderson
Ratings: B- C+ B+ B- B- A
Age: 20 yrs old
Stats (preseason): 7.2ppg, 7.1rpg, 2.7apg
Age: 20 yrs old

Sheesh kabob! I almost skipped over slow-jo Kyle Anderson. Broph had some good luck in landing him with the #2 pick. He has shown why he is deserving of the #2 pick after a fiiiiine first TC. He is a fiiine young man. Anyway, he was limited in what he could do in the preseason because the computer played him out of position. I think Kyle Anderson would be most effective if he is made into a super-sub, backing up the 1, 2, and 3. That way you can utilize his tremendous passing ability and well-balanced game. There is still a lot of unknowns about Anderson regarding his game, but the potential is definitely there. I’m excited to see what type of player he turns into. 16ppg, 7rpg, 7apg type player as a 6th man would be cool. Blazers are going to be dangerous next season!!!!!!!
Number #7 – Anthony Davis
Ratings: B C D+ A- B+ B
Age: 21 yrs old
Stats (preseason): 10.4ppg, 11.7rpg, 2.4apg, 3.6bpg
Age: 21 yrs old
Stats (preseason): 10.4ppg, 11.7rpg, 2.4apg, 3.6bpg
Has jah put any points into Davis? If he has, he hasn't done enough. Davis will never be an elite scorer, but he has the potential and already is one of the best defenders in the league. He’s a versatile defender in that he can guard multiple positions (KG in prime) and is a fantastic rebounder. He’s a star in my mind. Anybody that can put up 11/12/3+bpg on a stacked team deserves to be mentioned as an all-star year in and year out. NOH looks sick with him, Rivers, and Noel (all under 23) leading the city toward another championship run.
Number #6 – Julius Randle
Ratings: B+ C+ B C B- A
Age: 19 yrs old
Stats (preseason): 13.3ppg, 8.2rpg, 2.1apg
Age: 19 yrs old
Stats (preseason): 13.3ppg, 8.2rpg, 2.1apg
If he could play an ounce of defense he would be the best prospect in the league. He can’t play an ounce of defense and is still a top 3 prospect in my mind. His offense will be unstoppable once he starts to mature and gets some IT’s put into him. He and Kyrie will be the best offensive duo in the league in two years. Yeah, I called it! He is a powerful forward who can put the ball on the floor, post up, attack the basket, be a facilitator…. What I mean is that he can do anything on offense. A power forward version of LeBron without the defense. I don’t see MVP’s as being out of the question for this monster…. I think I might be overhyping now that I think about it, but what I am getting at is that he is good.
Number #5 – Cody Zeller
Ratings: B+ C C- B+ B- A
Age: 21 yrs old
Stats (preseason): 20.7ppg, 10.3rpg, 2.7apg
Age: 21 yrs old
Stats (preseason): 20.7ppg, 10.3rpg, 2.7apg
I had my doubts about Zeller, who was coming off his rookie season in which he put up a solid 17ppg/8rpg. But there were a few things that troubled me: his rebounding and shooting percentages. He floated around 41-42% shooting the entire year and his rebounding for a Center was sub-par. But after a solid TC it looks like he may have solved some of those problems. Preseason showed us a glimpse of his improved rebounding (10.3rpg in 33.5mpg), but his percentages are still low. Zeller has the potential to be a top Center in this league for a long time, but it will take a couple more TC’s and help from his GM to get to that level. He may be a tad too high, but I personally like him so you will respect my AUTHORITAH! Do work, greeme.
Number #4 – Bradley Beal
Ratings: B- A- C+ A- C A
Age: 21 yrs old
Stats (preseason): 21.6ppg, 6.6rpg, 4.9apg, 2.1spg
Age: 21 yrs old
Stats (preseason): 21.6ppg, 6.6rpg, 4.9apg, 2.1spg
It’s scary how quickly Beal has become a superstar in this league. He is everything you want from a SG: he can shoot, pass, rebound, defend etc…. I honestly don’t see any noticeable weaknesses in his game. Play has got a gem on his hands. The scary thing about Beal is that he is already an amazing player, but he is only 21 years old?! Play has built himself a solid team in Washington (though it’s nice to start off with Wall/Beal) and I expect Beal to be the catalyst for the next decade. Scary!
Number #3 – Kyrie Irving
Ratings: B+ B+ A- B- C A
Age: 22 yrs old
Stats (preseason): 25.2ppg, 5.8rpg, 9.9apg, 2.0spg
Age: 22 yrs old

It’s unfortunate that a player of Irving’s caliber has to play under a non-existent general manager. This would be a great opportunity for a GM to turn this youth-filled team into proven talent to surround superstar Kyrie Irving. But the fact of the matter is that outlawz has done nothing and will continue to do nothing. Irving’s first TC looked extremely mediocre and you think for a second, “could this be a repeat of UOSL4”? Then he simply goes out and drops 24ppg/9apg per night. This time around he had a nice TC, but the problem still remains. That is, he has no supporting cast around him. Randle will be a superstar, but take him away and what do you have? A lot of unproven young guys that don’t seem to be breaking through. Hopefully the Cavs can get a real GM so Irving doesn’t rot on this team. Best PG in the league… did I say that? He he a case to be #2 on this list.
EDIT after first sim:
Looks like those unproven young guys are starting to prove themselves.
Number #2 – Shabazz Muhammad

He's pretty dang good, but not quite deserving of the top spot yet. Last year he led the Kings to a very nice record and was putting up ridic stats in the process. I wouldn't be surprised to see him in the running for MVP as both he and the Kings as a whole have seen improvement in the off-season. Yeah, he's going to be in the MVP race as a 20 year old... Not fair.. Our only hope is when he hits Free Agency in a couple years.... LeBron Part deux? I HOPE SO! Redistribution the wealth! Equality for all! Spence better get a few championships with Shabazz on his team or else he would be a disappointment. Sorry spence, if you draft the 2nd best player in the league you have to live up to norgee's expectations.
I don't want to talk about his game because that would be a waste of time. What Shabazz really needs is a low-post scorer to keep the defense honest. Gasol just ain't going to get it done on the offensive end... Might I suggest one of the most efficient low-post scorers from the depths of Wisconsin? A guy that puts up 19ppg per 30mpg with B+ defense? Who is this MVP-type player you might ask?
Yup, you thought correctly. Mirza Teletovic!

What a sexy guy. Is there anybody with a ceiling that reaches as high as the top of my jew fro? I don’t think so. He is just soooo good. C+ A+ A+ B+ C+ A anybody? He is one of my favorite players of all time. I know for a fact he will turn into a superstar here. His preseason stats are identical to the stats he put up for me in UOSL4.

A random thought has led me to the Jabberwocky…. Let me recite from memory:
‘Twas brillig in the slithy toves
Did gyre and gimble in the wabe
All momsy were the borogroves and momeraths outrabe
“Beware the Jabberwocky, my son.
The claws that catch, the teeth that bite
Beware the Jub-Jub bird and shone the frumious buncersnatch”
He took his sword in vorpal hand
Long time the manxim foe he sought
Something something…….he thought
Then the Jabberwocky arrived….
One! Two! One Two! And through and through.
The vorpal blade went snicker-snack
And with its head, he went galumforing back
“Thou hast slain the Jabberwocky, my son!
Calloo Calleh! O’ frabjious day!” he chartled in his joy
