Cowboys are over rated. And so is Romo.

Over one game? All QB have bad days no matter how great. Um, are you saying that all QBs have THAT bad of a game once in a while? Cuz that's not true. I don't care about that game, didn't really see it. But I will say I watched most Dallas games this year and the hype for him has long been out of control. They suck his dick every time he throws a 15 yard pass or avoids one sack, as if these are new innovations. It's retarded.

He's not a bad QB in any way All based on his play the last 2 years... 1) Average general accuracy at best. 2) Below average deep-accuracy. 3) Panics against blitzes, tends to force throws middle - which is terrible. 4) Extremely poor at reading/identifying coverage. It is absolutely amazing the amount of problems Terrell Owens erases but not even he can cover up everything. Romo has good athleticism, he has a flair and a knack for making plays and doing big things. He's elusive, he puts good touch on the ball. He is not garbage but he certainly is not a great QB, very far from it in fact. To say he's not bad in any way is pretty naive, but I guess I can't expect anything different based on the way you rate Owens.

Good QB's doing go through second half season slumps like Romo did. Troy Aikman was 1-14 his first season as a starter. Romo took the Cowboys to the playoffs in his first season as a starter. How many first year starters lead the NFL in passer rating for a while? Romo's coming up on his 16th start, how about you don't say stupid things.

Not many people would say TO was the best in the game right now. His in the top ten for me.

Not many people would say TO was the best in the game right now. His in the top ten for me. It's irrelevant. Whether he's best or 50th best, he makes it hard for teams to blitz effectively, therefor teams are reluctant to do it. He also makes the coverages much more predictable. There's a reason TO can drop balls and still be so good lol. I really hate to just take away credit from anyone, Romo has done a good job but he is not as great as everyone makes him out to be. Bottom line is right now he's ideal for Dallas in many many ways.

All I ever read is someone who Thinks Romo is the best or he sucks. Hes a good QB alot of team would love to have. Is he the best? No way. But he is a really good QB alot of team would want.

i don't get how you can say this to be factual. i mean, i guess any team would want him, but i doubt that 2/3 of the NFL would want him as a STARTER. the only teams that would have QB problems.
bills, browns, chiefs, cardinals, vikings, bears, falcons(legal issues) are the only teams i could say for a FACT, that adding romo would be an upgrade. and the key point is that it's because their QBs are awful(or very much undeveloped), not because they're average. quite frankly it's all debatable because, as ducky would say, if you put a QB like romo on one of these teams he'll be terrible, and i think it definitely applies here... maybe not arizona tho.

Romo is 2nd in Passing yeads this year. His tied for frist in yards per pass. His 2nd in YPG. His 2nd In passing TD. Plus there way more team out there that would want him then just them and even if it was just them thats still alot. Jets, Jacksonville Jaguars, Miami Dolphins and Oakland Raiders. Thats 4 more teams on to the ones you named.

I think Gerrard is too but I'm not really gonna get into a Gerrard/Romo argument, that would be silly. And I definitely don't understand how 7 teams with obviously bad QB situations wanting Romo is a great thing. The actual point I was making is that they'd want him because they desperately need an upgrade... not because he's great. You'll have to forgive me for not addressing the stats. It's a fine line, I mean, I guess technically he earned it but do I think for ONE SECOND that he would even be 1/3 as good in the stats without Owens? Definitely not.

Right now Romo is better then Pennington. Pennington has not been that good in the last three years. Culpepper is in the same boat as Pennington. Green was a great QB but not anymore. I will say this. If you went to anyone of them team GM and ask if they would take Romo they would say yes. I'm not here to say Romo is the best all I'm saying is he is a good QB. Ever time someone talks about him ever one talks like his the best or he sucks. He just a good QB. Plus I do think the number would go down with out TO but what QBs number would not if you took there Number one WR off the team.
