I could see Chad ending in up in a couple places. One the Tampa bay Bucs and KC Chiefs. Herm Edwards loves chad, could work there too. Chad was a great QB for us ever since taking over for vinny, alot of great memories and games with chad, It sucks to see him go, but a new qb is always promising and exciting in football, so it should be interesting. i dont see chad ever being the starter anywhere again. a backup, yes. and as far as teams that need QBs. there are some QBs in this years draft and i dont think a lot of teams are looking for QBs. i think a lot of teams will be able to get a QB if they need one in the draft. chad has more leadership and qb experience then alot of guys. He could start in a lot of places, just because of his poor arm strength does not mean people will not want him, he has lead the jets to many playoff appearances and has shown a lot of strengths. He will thrive somewhere else if put in the right system no doubt. Having alot of qbs in one draft means shit.

I don't understand what Allstar is getting at. The QB situation in the NFL is far from "good". A player that has the ability of Pennington will find a starting job eventually, fairly easily.

Pretty solid performance by Clemens... we're going to OT.

Lost in OT... Run D was embarrassing. I wish we lined up in a 4-3 scheme more often, because we can't get any push with 3 linemen.

clemens had a solid game, throwing and running.
lost in OT, that blows. Harris had a solid game 20 tackles. oh well next season.

Wow Clemens looked very good. I wish he completed a few longer passes. Because he had like 43 attemps for 220 yards?
20 attempts = 150-200 yards 30 attempts = 200-300 yards 40 attempts = 250-350 yards 50 attempts = 350+ yards
That's sort of how I see it.

Well, you need blocking to complete long passes. And receivers who don't get jammed like a doorstops.
No offense guys but it's true. Didn't see the game today but knowing Washington's DBs, I can only imagine.

It wasn't really about getting jammed at the line. It's moreso that Washington's safeties can cover so much ground in the middle of the field.

For an average QB. I good QB could get 300-400 on about 30-35 attempts.

That's a pretty stupid generalization, because it depends on the coverage of the defense. If the defense is keeping everything in front of them, of course a QB would rather pass it to the underneath man that is wide open than attempt to throw it in double and triple coverage.
And with Washington's safeties that can cover alot of ground, it was better off for Clemens to not force it down the field.

also the more you pass, the more likely it is that you can't run effectively so that just taints that stat-theory even more.
