A look back at the 2010 lottery:
1 - Seattle Sonics - DeMarcus Cousins C 6'9'' 245 19 B C- C C+ B- A
Now:
DeMarcus Cousins PF 28 6'10'' 265 A- C- C A- A- B
You can't hate on this pick. Right now he's teaming up with Dwight Howard on the magic who is perhaps one of the best big men in UOSL2 history. The thing with this pick though, there's no surprise. So although, the Sonics get an A+, it's a boring A+.
Grade: A+
2 - Utah Jazz - Lance Stephenson SF 6'5'' 200 19 B- C+ B- C+ C- A
Now:
Lance Stephenson SG 28 6'5'' 214 A- B B B C- B
It really took this guy about 6 or 7 years to get going. I think the league almost gave up on this guy. He was gonna be a life time average player, but he had obviously something different in mind. Why is it always when players are in the last year of their contract, they play a lot better and improve their game. Duh! To get paid a ton the following FA. And that's exactly what happened with Lance. He had some big TCs, and went into FA, got paid big time, and now he's one of hte best all around players around. Because he was so disappointing for a few years, I gave him an A instead of an A+.
Grade: A
3 - Chicago Bulls - Delvon Roe PF 6'8'' 220 20 B- C C B+ C A
Now:
Delvon Roe C 29 6'8'' 236 B+ C C- A C+ C
I really like Roe. He's been on the Bulls since he was draft and he's been a great contributor. Outside of his rookie season, Roe has only missed one game his entire Bulls career. A great defender his entire career, and even a offensive threat for a few years in his career. Roe was a solid pick. The only problem is that Boynton, Harden, and Jennings were picked behind him.
Grade: B
4 - New York Knicks - Kenny Boynton SG 6'2'' 185 19 B- B- C B- D+ A
Now:
Kenny Boynton SG 28 6'3'' 198 B A C+ A+ C- D
Boynton is a freak. IMO, he may have been the best pick in this draft. Not only because he is a great scorer, but because he does a lot of other things. Even though he's small and undersized, he can guard any other guard in the league. He's one of the best guard defenders around. He has averaged 5apg in his career, and he's averaging over 6rpg this season. Since he's been traded to the Warriors, the Warriors have been killing.
Grade: A+
5 - Atlanta Hawks - James Harden SG 6'5'' 200 21 C+ B+ C B- C- B
Now:
James Harden SG 30 6'5'' 204 B- A- C+ B C- C
23-5-4. That's what you get from Harden. Harden is one of my favorite players in this league, why? Well, he's always been terribly underrated, especially in playoffs. In the playoffs, this man is unstoppable. He's the reason why the hawks, as a lower seeded team, upset so many high seeded teams (or at least gave them a fight). His ratings have gotten worse over the past few years, so don't let that fool you. A very good pick at #5.
Grade: A-
6 - Los Angeles Clippers - Leslie McDonald SG 6'4'' 195 19 C+ C+ B- C+ D+ A
Now:
Leslie McDonald SG 28 6'5'' 202 C+ B+ A- B C D
IMO, this is a very disappointing pick. Sure he had pretty nice ratings, even better than what he has now. But this guy was Mr. unproductive to the max. Never did much when I was running the Raptors. Still though, since he turned out so sexy, I can't hate too much. But, Crater or Jennings would have been much better picks.
Grade: B-
7 - Sacramento Kings - J'mison Morgan C 6'10'' 270 21 C+ D D C+ B- A
Now:
Gone.
What can I say? The Kings just fucking sucked at drafting.
Grade: D-
8 - Seattle Sonics - Anthony Crater PG 6'1'' 175 20 C+ C A- C D A
Now:
Anthony Crater PG 29 6'1'' 181 C+ B B+ A- D D
I think this may be one of my favorite draft files. A good mix of talent, surprises, busts and guys like Crater and Harden. Guys that have never reached star material, but they have always played on good teams and did great things for them. Crater has been overshadowed by great players in NY: Emeka and Boynton are the first 2 to come to mind. If you look now, Crater is having his best year with 20ppg, now that most of the talent in NY is gone. I may be going out on a limb by giving Crater a B+, but I truly feel he was as solid as they get. Btw, he had an amazing assist - turnover ratio.
Grade: B+
9 - New Orleans Hornets - FORFEIT
This is why you don't mess with the hard cap. Brandon Jennings could have been theirs.
Grade: F
10 - Los Angeles Clippers - Brandon Jennings PG 6'1'' 180 20 B- C+ B+ C D+ B
Now:
Brandon Jennings PG 29 6'1'' 197 C+ A- A+ B- D D
Stud, this guy is another underrated PG. Shit, like every guy here in the late first was underrated. Jennings was sick for Clips. He and Deng led them to consecutive finals appearances, unfortunately they never won a championship. And although Jennings isn't a very competitive guy and just wants to help whatever team he's on, I have a feeling he'd like to get a ring before he's done in this league. He's still playing great basketball, so I expect him to get another shot at a ring someday. Great pick by Tiger, he got his franchise PG with the 10th pick, how bout that?
Grade: A
11 - Brooklyn Nets - Alex Legion SG 6'5'' 210 22 B- B- C+ C D B
2 years ago (currently not in the league now):
Alex Legion SG 6'5'' 210 22 C+ B+ B- C D C
Legion was actually meant to be a pretty good scorer, but that didn't really happen. Legion became a very good backup. In fact, I'm a little surprised he disappeared with the ratings he had. He could easily be C+ A- B- C D C right now. Legion wasn't a total waste with the 11th pick, but he never panned out.
Grade: C-

Top 4 Steals:
1 - #20 (1st Round) - Seattle Sonics - Alexey Shved PG 6'7'' 185 21 C C B- B- D+ A
Now:
Alexey Shved PG 30 6'7'' 185 C+ A- A A D C
Shved will go down as one of the biggest first round steals in UOSL2 history. How does a guy go who goes #20 end up being one of the best players from this class. Shved is doing great things still, now in Toronto. Amazing pick by the sonics.
2 - 3 (2nd Round) - Seattle Sonics - Malcolm Lee PG 6'4'' 180 20 C B C+ C C- A
Now (ratings from a year ago):
Malcolm Lee PG 29 6'4'' 184 C A- A- C+ D+ D
Sonics had an amazing draft now that I look back at it! They drafted the top 2 steals and some other good players. Lee is a pretty solid player. He had some really nice TCs. He has nice ratings, but a lack of production has kept him on the bench a lot. I guess you could call him a disappointing steal. But nevertheless, still a great 2nd round pick.
3 - #17 (1st Round) - New Orleans Hornets - Anthony McClain C 7'0'' 235 22 B- D D+ B- C+ B
Now (ratings from a year ago):
Anthony McClain C 31 7'0'' 250 C+ D+ D A- B+ D
I actually wanted to put McClain as the #2 steal, but he went #17 in the draft, so I don't know how much of a steal that is. He's started every single game until the last year of his career. Nothing much on offense, but a good rebounder and a good defender. Solid pick.
4 - #19 (1st Round) - New York Knicks - Michael Dunigan C 6'10'' 240 20 C+ D+ C- C+ C+ A
Now:
Michael Dunigan C 29 6'10'' 242 B- D+ C B+ B+ C
Dunigan is another later bloomer. He's just starting to enter his prime years right now. Although Dunigan is coming off the bench right now for the Lakers, I think if he could get his defense up to A-, he could see a starting role somewhere next season. Solid pick for bluedevils.
Top 3 Busts:
